It blows my mind how this team can beat Houston at home one day and lose to the Lakers on the road the next. At home, they're elite. On the road, they're terrible.
Houston was disinterested and resting Paul tbh. Pop would have gotten exposed then too

    Worst since 1996-97 easily.
the very first nba game i ever watched live was the derek fischer .04 shot
i didn't really closely follow SA until 2012

in all that time, i've never felt this total lack of confidence that i have in this team as currently constructed

it's basically LMA + garbage. Murray shows promise, but also shows stupidity. mills is garbage. green is ROC'd for a new team. parker is done. manu is TO.A.S.T. kawhi is a . pop is phoning it in. white is riding the pine.

what's to believe in or hope for?

Yeah not sure who you keep? LMA, Gay, Murray....losing by 10 in over time is hard to imagine.

    Tony gave the team 0.
    Last game too.
    He's officially below Forbes level.

But he hit a three and played defense in the first half!

    Better game than Tony tbh.
Didn't have a good game I agree but he's not paid 15 million a year to give 0... They don't have to sign him back either.
Tony has been bad and wants to be a Spur 3 more years.

    Feel sorry for my Spurs...

Need to do something about it this summer.

Lamarcus and Murray the only bright spots.
    Lol

Patty with too many shots & mins. The shot selection was terrible & liability on D. Pop depends on him too much.

Last 2 losses has me gutted . This spurs team is a massive letdown .

Kawhi has elevated this team to an unbelievable level, it's absurd how vulnerable this team is, and it's all the fault of who created this mediocre roster(Pop)

How the does anyone lose in OT by 10 points?
When your bench has players like Forbes and Paul yeah you going to loose close games cause they have to play in OT.

Damn no Kawhi, you double Aldridge & nobody can else can hit shots. Also why did Pop have Green on Kuzma? Kuzma was torching Danny, should've had Gay or Kyle on him, Danny is too small.

Agreed that pop depends on him too much.
Derrick White was there. He could have played some of those 37 minutes Patty played for sure.

Every comment from Page 12 and after is gold

Never fails that Green is called out in literally every game thread and then no one has the balls to call the scrub out in other threads. The most protected player I've probably ever seen. Back-to-back games where teams just attack his weak ass defense and it works out. It's time posters start to call him out, tbh.

How does anyone lose by 10 in OT when the opponents have a tank line-up on the floor?

Yep, these two losses have really pissed me off. I was joking to a friend saying the way we're playing on the road, we might loss both of these games. I didn't really think we would as I thought/felt the Spurs had turned the corner. I just think they are mentally weak. If you can beat the top teams at home and then lose to almost anyone on the road, I think that speaks more about your mental toughness than anything. This team have zero shot in the playoffs without Kawhi. If he's not coming back, they should just consider slipping out of the playoffs altogether.

Very, very mentally soft team the Spurs have shown to be this season.

Green did an admirable job on Kuzma. Kuzma is 6' 9" and is a future all star talent. Green's offense is the problem.

Kuz went Nova on us, this team looks tired. Pop can't do his typical resting routine because all hands on deck to get to the playoffs but Tony, LMA heck lots of players can use the time off but games can't afford to be punted this year. I can't recall the last time Tony went this long without a DNP rest recently. The only games LMA has missed recently is because he was injured.
