It is more that we are the cryptkeeper's to Lebron's soul. Dude must hate us. We are the only team in the league he doesnt have a winning record against and it isnt even close. We are pummeling him in H2H.

Nice to see his monkeyball antics from Wednesday night get punished when he was acting like a clown and showboating at the end of the game.
My thoughts exactly. Noticeably lately he doesn’t go to Pops after each game to share mutual admirations. What gives?

I honestly don't think the team needs talent. We've got it with the last 3 draft picks, LMA & DDR. The problem is having five 1-way role players who play heavy rotation minutes.

    Start Bertans and/or Poeltl.

Maybe Aldridge at PF and Poeltl at C would work better.

I definitely think we might go back to Poeltl as a starter. He can defend and move his feet. So cool his family came in for the game. That was something cool to watch.

I don't know if I like Poeltl in the SL. Aldridge and Bertans is a much better pairing

Forbes, DDR, Gay, LMA, Poeltl has absolutely little spacing and no way that unit would be good offensively.

Forbes, DDR, Gay, Bertans and LMA should be the SL going forward. Teams actually have to guard all five players and the Spurs would have some semblance of modern basketball with high volume and high percentage shooting from 3 Forbes and Bertans and additional spacing from Gay.

Poeltl can continue to have a positive impact from the bench, though it might be time to start trimming LMA's minutes a little to get Jakob more floor time.

I hear what you're saying and I have always thought we at least needed two if not three shooters in the SL that could shoot the 3. Gay's recent upward swing from the 3 pt line has been encouraging. I just don't know about the defense of our starters and these big holes we keep falling into. No doubt spacing is more of an issue with Poeltl. It looked like Pop was rolling with Bertans, which sure made sense, and then he went back to the Cunningham line-up in LA.

I think Aldrigdge and Poeltl starting together would be similar to Aldridge and Dedmon- cramped spacing (especially on Aldridge post-ups) that boggs down the offense while providing improved defense. The Spurs have worse shooters than that previous lineup so I don't think that unit would be positive.

With Forbes, DDR, Gay, Bertans, and Aldridge there are three shooters around the DDR-LMA pick and pop action and just better spacing in general.

I'd rather Bertans start because he maximizes the offense and if the rules strongly favor offense then it makes sense to start 5 offensive players. Defensively, this team probably isn't going to be able to stop anyone anyway but I think that they could be better than 10th in offensive rating.
