Why doesn't Jack just fly around the earth backwards and turn back time to BEFORE the nuke was detonated?
Lazy writers.
Alex Jones predicted this show would be immensely popular long before Keifer won his 23rd emmy due to 24.
Wasn't last year Kiefer's first Emmy win?
People laugh at this stuff.
If we keep ing around with terrorists, and squabbling in Washington over how to treat the poor poor people in Cuba, and worrying if were "violating the rights" of terrorist s bags.
Were gonna have Nuculear Weapons go off in our country.
The torture scars all over his body protects him from radiation. duh!![]()
did I click on the wrong thread?
I thought we were talking about a TV show
TPark and Mookie can always turn a thread into a misinformed political bashfest.
Tpark, STFU. And take it to the political forum.
Don't you guys get it? If we stop arguing about the political ramifications of a fictional president's actions then the terrorists have already won.
STFU yourself. You arent the forum god and no one gives a what you think.
Go back to lusting for Barbara the office .
Clearly.Don't you guys get it? If we stop arguing about the political ramifications of a fictional president's actions then the terrorists have already won.
That whats been said.![]()
Well...you saw what happened to Curtis, right?
I think there should be a vbookie about how many more of those 4 remaining nukes are detonated before the season is over.![]()
I'm enjoying this season a lot more than last season so far, mainly because I've lowered my expectations. I've accepted the fact that getting across Los Angeles takes 5 minutes for some people and 45 minutes for others. I've accepted the fact that people at CTU will be hung up on romantic relationships during a national crisis. I've gotten used to the "Civil Rights Issues for Beginners" level of editorializing in the writing.
I'm approaching this season like I would approach watching a James Bond movie, and so far I love it.
I need to start watching this damn show. Should I start from the beginning on DVD's or does it not matter?
I heard they blew up LA last night. I bet Boutons was excited.
It's not essential that you start at the first season.
, if last season's any indicator, you really don't even have to start with the first EPISODE of a given season.
This season you could probably just jump right in and make plenty of sense of who the people are and what their relationships to each are, however a few of these people have been around for a few seasons and in the case of the president have roots stretching back to the very first season. If you want to get caught up in a hurry there are plenty of websites where you can get episode recaps for the entire show. If you want some humor thrown in with it I recommend televisionwithoutpity.com.
I was pissed when Jack shot Curtis last night. Not because of the fact that I liked Curtis, but because I never got a chance to predict this would happen. I saw it coming, and I didn't tell anyone, so I lost the opportunity to say "I told you so."
With that in mind, here are my predictions for the rest of Season 6. I have not pulled these from any other sources, nor have I read any spoilers or 24 fansites. That's not how I roll.
- Assad, while not working in cooperation with Fayed, is part of a much larger terrorist plot which will be revealed when Fayed is dead.
- The President will be led to believe that Tom Lennox is somehow working with the Terrorists (or the Bluetooth guys), but will later find out that his insubordinance was simply his Neocon ideology taking hold of his judgment. Stupid Neocons.
- New York City and Washington DC are targets for two of the remaining suitcase bombs.
- Milo is the father of Chloe's baby.
- Morris is a mole.
- Bill Buchanan will be killed. Possibly by Morris.
- At the end of Season 6, Kim will finally die. Audrey will not die, but she will come close after suffering injuries as a result of being taken hostage.
They were the puppet masters in Season 5. The three guys that were always on the phone with the President. Based on the preview, one of them appears in the next episode.who is everyone calling the bluetooth guys?
if that means putting Muslims "internment camps""violating the rights" of terrrorist
I've already called that one earlier in the thread. Like I said, Assad will double cross Jack/CTU, and then there will be the moment where Jack realizes he killed Curtis for nothing.
Not much of a reach on the cities targeted. I'm also beginning to think Morris is a mole...
It will also be interesting to see the dynamic play out between Walid and Palmer's sister. I think Walid will end up getting more info. out of the guys in the holding facility, but she won't pass on the info. because it wasn't obtained legally or some bull like that.
Maybe even info. that would have stopped a bomb going off in say D.C. that ends up killing her brother. Something twisted like that.
