Can someone tell me what happened on the Gino 30 foot 3 pointer.

Spurs were down 5 with over a minute left, defensive three seconds called on the Pacers, and Manu made the free throw. Spurs have the ball and have a horrible offensive set, almost losing the ball when Manu gets it at just about half-court with 5 on the shot-clock. He pretty much had to chuck up a 30-footer or get a 24-second violation, and it was nothing but net.

Parker got shut off in the lane so he turned and got tripped up and almost traveled and threw an off-balance pass deep to the backcourt. Manu ran the ball down at half-court tight-roping the midcourt line. He gathered himself with 4 on the shot clock and in front of 2 defenders he stepped up and drilled a 30 footer to make it a 4 point trip (tech foul earlier on the defensive 3 sec.).

I think the spurs barely made it out alive.. But yes, this was something that on regular nights, would have not belong to the spurs.

Indiana absolutely blew this game.

Tell me about it. Rick freaks me out at times, his coaching was absolutely horrible.

All quarter long we forced it into Duncan and came up with 10 points in 8 minutes. Then we actually let someone else do something and Manu and Bruce dropped in 12 points in 2 minutes. I rest my case.

i usually love rick carlisle AKA jim carrey as a coach but taking peja out and fred jones for stretches in the last 5 min of the game was VERY poor subs uting! and yeah duncan is barely 75% i think manu and tp should be the 1st and 2nd options. we should keep td more in a ben wallace type of defensive presence until he's 90%
