that is correct. People forget that he was also sick when a scored 27 the other night.
I've not problem resting Manu, just I don't understand wtf was he doing
on the bench if Pop did know before that he would not play.

Bud,
If Tony was sick, I would hope POPS recognized this and made the adjustment, OH....., then his other option was Brent Barry.
Good point though.....I will cut TP some slack!
someone mentioned manu was in his warmups so I don't know why he didn't play. Pop might answer your question in the post game.
Their number one pick from a year ago is supposed to be on next year's roster as well (Fran Vasquez). Otis Smith and Dave Twardzik have done a great job cleaning up the John Weisbrod-John Gabriel mess.
It sucks the Pistons will get a 17-20 pick instead of something in the lottery in 2007.
I'm happy for Darko - 14 points, 7 boards, and 3 blocks - not against a team like Atlanta or Houston, but against one of the best frontlines in the game. That kid is going to be a stud for a long time.
Before ending the 2/4 Elliot said on tv, in a 99% Manu would not play tonight.
(I may get blasted for saying is this)
For as much D Bowen brings to the team, we DO NOT get squat of offense from him.
Is this an area we need to explore in the off season as well as other "bench" areas?
This puts much pressure on our starting 3 (TD, TP, MG), because we definitely will should not hold our breath waiting to see what our Center production will bring to the game!
PHX's beat down on Dallas is helping me to calm down!!!!!!
Maybe he forgot to bring his Sportscoat again?? Even though they're at home?? I don't know.
Ah yes, everybody has the magic bullet after a loss.
Honestly, I hope it's that good. I have my doubts.
I suggest you watch tapes from years 2003-2006 especially 2003 and 2005
I think their inexperience will make it that good. They will lose a lot of games around mid-season when people stop thinking of them as an easy mark on the schedule. See New Orleans this season, for example. How they adjust to that will tell of their mental toughness and around late-March 2007 one of us will look very silly.
42-45 wins next season.
It's a nonsense if you're resting a player, dressed in uniform.
! im tired of this! everytime the spurs is doing this! this is important game!!!!!!!!!!!! game me a breakkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk!

Guys, take heart. 15-2 in their last 17 games. That means that 44% of the Magic's 34 wins have come in the last 17 games (played 78). They have beat the holy trifecta - Detroit, Miami, and San Antonio. If they had a game against Dallas, I'm sure they could beat them, too.
You lost to a good team tonight. Don't beat the Spurs up too badly.
I remember he was on the bench on a road game even though he wasn't playing, so he just had his uniform on the bench, because of the dress code rule.
They did. March 31st. Beat Dallas 108-99
Is this response in defense of Bowen's offense? If so, 7.7 pts per game avg isn't that much IMO.
Since 2001 BB is averaging 31 MPG and 7.3 PPG
Again, if this is your point, the Spurs will have to decide if this is something that they want to live with next season!
I love Bruce's D, but I wish he could bring more offense as well!
The Spurs will have to decide if they want to keep the reigning DPOY next season?Again, if this is your point, the Spurs will have to decide if this is something that they want to live with next season!
Tough choice - who knows what Pop would want?
PHX up 15 at the half 60-45, there is a god. And right now he hates Dallas.
SSSSHHHHHHH![]()
You do not want to jinx the Spurs do you?
your kidding me right.....I love Bruce's D, but I wish he could bring more offense as well!
yes it was in response to your post. How do you think we won championships. With offense? Good perimeter players would have a field day against us. The suns might needs your support if you have an urge for offense. Once you're with them come back and analyze their championship runs.
LOL @ that Ali G playoffs commercial with Tim Duncan. I love those. The "win or go home" one is awesome too.
Orlando beat Dallas two weeks ago, 108-99.
Dallas W
Detroit W
@ Miami W
@ San Antonio W
edit: Oh, and the Magic are 13-4 in their last 17 games.
