That's not a conspiracy. That's a timekeeper trying to keep his job.![]()
From what I remember, Pop chewed out our timekeeper after the ".3" game.
No this is more than you're usual lose, many spurs fans feel like their getting the short end of a lot of calls. These "whining" threads, so led by the webmasters or whoever, don't come up that often.

Dude, you should have quit while you were kind of behind instead of carrying on and removing all doubt. The NBA is about 384,283,912 times more physical than high school ball.Except for the fact that high school basketball is much more rough and and THE FOULS ARE NOT called the same. You can get away with much more in high school basketball.
Go home.
Because I love my team numb nuts. I love basketball, I'm from SA, grew up watching the Spurs, and love watching them play. Just because the league has an alternate agenda doesn't change any of that.If you think this way then why are u here. If the nba is fixed then why care about it enough to post here.
This is a Spurs board, why are you here whining about what Spurs fans think? You've got a scroll button, use it.
Over the last five years i've worked with officials that call lopsided games because they suck at officiating. And guess what - they GET REPLACED!! Now if the UIL in Texas can realize when officials suck and replace them, surely the NBA could do the same. If they wanted to.
Not an excuse, just an observation. All timekeepers do it to some extent. I wished our timekeeper would have done it in '04 against the Lakers.
Besides 7.9 seconds should have been more than enough time.
That's just not true. They don't come up that often because the Spurs don't lose that often. But when they do lose, you can count on these type of threads to pop up, just like fans of any team in any sport. Spur Fan is no different...
im not whining, its the spur trolls doing plenty of that
Honestly, do any of you in this forum think that the officiating in the NBA is good. Or even acceptable??
i agree, our problem here isn't some conspiracy, cause for real who really cares about the mavs, our problem is incompetant officiating.
Spurs have won playing 5 on 8 before.
Sure I can...watch me...
Funny, then don't hate on Cuban, cause he's actually the made the NBA hold these guys somewhat accountable for poor officiating.
I don't know exactly what the timekeeper is in charge of, but I'm pretty sure in the 0.4 situation, and any situation like it, the clock is actually started by the refs. They have some electronic button on their belt, or something.
who cares about the mavs![]()
You do realize that dallas is 10 times bigger than san antonio and has more fans dont you?
Threads, to this degree, no not really. Spurs fans are hot over this series.
Lol, some people say cuban complains too much about officiating but at the same time say they only want the officiating in the NBA to improve. Doesn't make any sense.
I know, our problem is incompetent officiating. What makes me wonder about the "conspiracy" or "agenda" of the league is that the league has never done anything to fix this problem. It has been a major problem for years and the league has done nothing. The league has even go so far as to go "Nazi" and suspend or fine anyone who mentions the bad officiating. So much for constructive criticism. The fact that the league has not fired ANY of these officials who are doing a horrible job is what makes me think that the league actually WANTS the officials to call games a certain way even if it is lopsided. Otherwise why would they keep them?
10X bigger?
Yeah, you might be right. Although, I remember reading that Pop was upset at the timekeeper after the Laker game. Maybe the refs start the clock, but the timekeeper stops it after the play.
That's rich. You've been nothing other than a Mavs troll the entire time on this site. Frankly I don't see why you're not banned, you've contributed exactly zero intelligent basketball discussion to the forum and do nothing but run smack and try to come off as a condescending asshole.im not whining, its the spur trolls doing plenty of that
ok, maybe an exaggeration
and all this ref complaining contributes so much to intelligent basketball discussion right? hypocrite
Gah this has been the crappiest officiating I've seen since...well...the last Lakers game I watched...lol. But seriously...
It's actually true that the refs screwed the Spurs.
the city of san antonio is bigger than the city of Dallas moron. Gawd you went to Dallas ISD didn't you. And who cares how many fans you have, you're losers.
