Roaches are soooo gross! Blech! Especially those flying ones, those ers are fearless and I am scared to death of them.
And the worst part- you can have an immaculately clean house and you will still get those ers in your house during the summer. It's an annual ritual.
The one the cat got was pretty big. Not Houston-roach big, but big nonetheless.
I have been scared less of them since one crawled up my back in the shower several years ago.
I hear you, Jess. I can handle like a mouse or frog, or any of those things girls are supposedly afraid of. But a roach? My ass will run!
Well.. for the type of league that ya'll are in I think it's fine. There's no need to be critical of a team when the purpose of the league itself is to have fun.
OMG...I am deathly afraid of roaches too. I was walking in the hallway once and a roach ran over my barefoot, I had to jump in the shower and wash my foot. Ugh!!

I am sooo afriad of the roaches- and I can't kill them either, cus they make that crunch sound ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!! Worst sound ever! And then half the time that doesn't kill them!
I relive it every time I see one run across the room .... ugh.
We will definitely have fun but we also want to kick ass.
I actually worked up the nerve to kill one a couple years ago when I was living alone, and I hit it really ing hard with a shoe - I heard the exoskeleton crack and then pop back out and the er kept running. I swear I have the worst luck with them.
If the compe ion is anything like I thought it was gonna be like, then ya'll should kick loads of it.
Ohhh, I have not tried that one. I love me some specialty and/or imported beers. I have been on a Stella Artois kick lately.
It's brewed in Houston, I don't know how far they ship, but it's amazing. I'm drinking the Summer Pils right now.
I love Nirvana's Unplugged version of "Where did you sleep last night", but then I downloaded the Leadbelly version and it is even more beautiful and haunting, if that's possible!
