Hey but I guessed correctly that Locke would come and shoot that Naomi girl! Right before he came I was all "Locke! Come kill this girl!! We need you!" and when it happened I was like !! Haha I love Locke! but wtf.. then he just walked away from Jack.. I wonder what he was going off to do?

Remember when Locke saw that big black smoke monster thing? It didn't kill him but it killed a lot of other people. I wonder what he saw in that thing because it completely changed his outlook. Locke is special, he can see into the future, and he can heal himself.

Yeah John believes everyone should stay so there has to be a reason for it.. and it looks like Jack regrets leaving the island. If Locke wanted to stay just for him I don't see why he would keep the others there. Not like he's part of any love triangle.

I feel like watching the seasons all over again since there's so much time 'til next season. Man when the show was over I thought that was just the first hour. I was sooo into it that when it finished I was like "ok time for the next hour...." and it was over!

Damn I can't wait til next season.

Yeah Charlie's death seemed unnecessary... that's my only complaint. I have no problem with them killing him off, but there were several easy outs....

If he hadn't shut the door it would have taken forever for the underwater base to flood and they could have escaped. Or, he could have just escaped out the window. Or , why didn't he just shut the door from the outside??

Did Charlie really feel like he HAD to die to complete the mission? Especially after he realized Penny wasn't on the boat, he should have realized that maybe Desmond's vision was incomplete and shouldn't be carried out.

Very nicely done, dramatic scene, but I hate when there are holes like that.

According to Desmond's premonitions, Charlie had to die in order for Claire and her baby to be rescued.

Well, he knows they'd be getting onto helicopters, but now that he's talked to Penny he has reason to believe those helicopters aren't being sent by her as they originally thought. He was concerned enough about it to write the note on his hand, but maybe he just wants Desmond to keep an eye out.

Ok. Here's what I figger.

We know Penny is looking for 'something' because back when Des released the magnetic pulse, it was her outfit that detected it. There has to be another reason she was looking for it, as she would have never known that an EMP would lead to Des originally.

The group offshore is not Penny's. We also know that they will not kill everyone as Ben said, because we know that at the very least 2, most likely 3 get off. We also know Des sees Claire and Aaron getting on a heli, so they most likely rescued.

The name of the funeral home was Hoffs/Drawlar - which is an anogrm for Flash Forward.

I don't think the casket was Ben's. He would have died before he left; you can't rescue someone who doesn't want to be rescued.

It wasn't really Walt on the island, it was the island manifesting as Walt.

It is most likley not Dharma peeps in the boat, as they would already know where the island is.

I think the episode was a great set up for a great season. The 7 episodes we have left better be the ing balls. Damn studios. Pay the ing writers.

I can't believe I waited 8 months for that. What a disappointment. They didn't even show many of the scenes that we've been seeing in the trailers. That was the most boring Lost episode yet. I think I'm gonna have to finally give up on this show.

I thought it was good. I expect that we won't actually see them leave the island until the 8th episode.

That said, I was really unconvinced by Hurley's speech about Charlie, and about the split it caused. That whole scene was really weak. Hurley didn't even really explain what Charlie saw that convinced him the boat was not there to rescue them. Desmond was DOWN there and he didn't say a WORD. I'm thinking I would need a little more explaination before walking away from a possible rescue and following a crazy guy who just threw a knife at the woman who had promised to rescue us.

One positive thing about only eight episodes is that (hopefully) the other eight will run in the fall, so we won't have to wait as long.

I think the whole idea of Hurley making that speech is that the plot is going to start turning in the direction of making him the ultimate savior. I predict Locke dies.

I also predict that by the end of what originally was going to be the end of season four (now which I suppose will air in October/November 2008), the main timeline of the show will have caught up with the "flash forward" part.
