Man, this is a good friggin post. Almost makes me feel good about the loss. Thanks timvp. Agree 100%!

Yeah the back to back is getting old but they lost this game because they didn't take the Cats seriously. Even before the game, Bill Shoening was talking about how they could not be taken lightly and they were better than their record indicated. So what did they Spurs do? Assumed they would win the game easily. Recipe for disaster.
Too true. Back to backs are a .
This is true. I just wish they would start shaping up on offense. They have three elite offensive players if they are on their games. Meaning as a 1-2-3 combo they should be elite offensively, but they aren't. Duncan isn't himself, and neither is Manu. Aside from the turnovers Parker has been awesome. Why can't this be the year the Spurs become a top 5 offensive team? Is the rest of the supporting cast just that lacking in that department? Or does the team use up too much energy on D? I just don't see why they can't be a top 5 offensive in team in terms of Points Per Possesion + Offensive Rating.
Hey Doghouse MD, I like your avatar. I assume you drew it? Nice.
chicago is a physical defensive team that could eat us alive this friday
hopefully we will at least be ready for them
Its this sort of head-scratching loss that convinces me that all is well with the Spurs and that we'll win the le. This loss was classic Spurs. No big deal.
This was THE Back to Back to Win!!!
It would have been the perfect Statement.
Most of the comments and observation tonight have been perfect and Right On!
It's a pity the team and (behind the team TEAM) are not in on this conversation! Do you think it could do some good to have other "outside fan constructive criticism"!? They need to start listen to Somebody!
I'm Outie!
I think they will be ready after the ass reaming that Pop is giving them right now. And other than their opening night clobbering of the Heat, the Bulls haven't looked all that great this season.
Manu was 3 - 14, if he could get 7 of 14,we win.
Can't win in NBA shooting 38%.
The one's that say everything's ok or we're all gonna die? Most of the comments and observation tonight have been perfect and Right On!Yeah, Phil Jackson has his own special assistant dedicated to reading every post on Lakersground. It's a pity the team and (behind the team TEAM) are not in on this conversation! tp this year 1.9 turnovers per game
last year 3.1
I think tp is improving
Well i would say it is a lock that Spurs will not be number on the power rankings after this crapfest tonight.
I think the Spurs old nemesis, their lack of killer instinct, did them in tonite. After taking the Bobcats lightly for most of the game, the Spurs rallied at the end of regular time and could have won it with batter ball-handling and shooting. Then, when they had momentum going into the overtime, they were too passive and did not crush the Bobcats.
unless utah drops a game
I mean Okafur has become a legit player in the NBA and Morrison looks like he is going to be good but the Spurs should have overwhelmed them with their depth tonight.
I know that is not a big deal i am just mentioning it.

Hey... Who won the game?
Bobcats won in overtime. At least I had fun staying and almost cheering the Spurs to victory.
I saw Walter Hermann and Brezec on the Bobcats bench. I wish both could have played- would have like to have seen them.
Spurs shot 49% @Rockets, then 39% at home.
they are head cases.![]()
Spurs need to start playing better at home they have been dominant at home last 2 years and this year so far have been very bad. They are playing up and down to the compe ion to much right now. They should have blew out the knicks twice instead they were somewhat close and there is no excuse for tonight.
Look on the bright side. Spurs will come out pissed and extra motivated next game against the Bulls and will win it. Book it![]()
