I am NOT happy about Sanjaya and Hayley being there over Chris S. He had a down week this week, but he is still worlds better than either one of those people.

If everyone isn't careful, we're going to outsource American Idol to India, just like most of the other jobs in this country. It's just like Yao getting the most votes for the ASG every year- Sanjaya has 800 million more people voting for him than every other contestant. He is horrible, and never should have made it this far, but he's got an entire country voting for him aside from the US.

That being said, I think Jordin is going to win.

Maybe, I'm just trying to get an idea as to why Sanjaya is still there. He doesn't have half the talent as any of the other contestants... It's like a few years ago on Dancing with the Stars, when Master P was there for several weeks in spite of not being able to dance at all. I'm at a loss for an explanation.

Yeah, he definitely wasn't perfect, but when he was on, man he was on. He had a beautiful depth and tone to his voice that I don't really think the other guys have, except... (I can't believe I'm saying this)... Sanjaya has a really pretty voice, but he's a crappy performer and won't sing loud. I don't get how he's still on the show.

It needs to change or else we'll always have the Sanjayas of the world winning this thing. This is my suggestion:

1. Have it to where the poeple can vote only "one time" whether it's online or calling in.

2. Have the peoples vote only count a small %. Say the judges 70%, peoples 30% or 60-40.

3. Once the bottom two are picked, the judges would decide who goes home by having them sing again or by the previous nights performance.

The reason for #2 is because poeple are still going to vote based on looks, song selection, uniqueness(like Blake's beatboxing) and of course to screw up the show. Too many people have forgotten this is a SINGING CONTEST!

That's just it, I think Haley is a good singer! I said that even before she showed her delicious legs Seriously, she is a good singer it's just that Melinda, Lakisha and Jordin are way ahead of her...IMO. I think Haley sings better than the guys!
