Spurs allowing too many bull fake jump shots by the Jazz. Don't let them shoot anymore.
Really. I thought I had wandered into a Suns forum.

not a bad duncan-less quarter.
Normal home court stuff mostly.
We're on the road. We don't have to win pretty or by big numbers. Any win, by any amount, is a good win in the Western Conference Finals, aka the 2007 NBA Finals.
Stay close, execute in the fourth.
Play good defense, take better care of the ball and rebound well on the defensive side.
Do that and keep Tim out of foul trouble, we'll walk out of this gym with a 3-0 lead in the series.
Can anyone translate this? ducks?
The refs are staying OUT of this ing game which is how it should be. There's always a few flops, a few questionables, but this is good, hard playoff basketball.
Blaming the refs is PUSSY
JAZZinSIX, you must be blind, the calls are all going your way.
However, that's fine, our guys expected that and we will fight through it. They're not pussies like the Suns, they knew what they were in for tonight before the game started.
I wonder what the Jazz are thinking right now. Down 2-0 in the series and Duncan hardly played the first half and they still don't have a halftime lead.
Spurs are in good shape. If they keep the same mentality, and Duncan stays away from stupid fouls, they have a good shot at effectively ending the series tonight.
Amen. A rested Timmy for the second half and a 4 point lead!
Stupid question, but do you start Tim at the half despite the three fouls?
Probably, but I have him guard Okur and make sure that he is conscious of avoiding his fourth.
Just contest Okur's 3s don't jump to try to shot block yet.
One word. Rush....we knew the the calls would be rough. But we shall 0vercome.
I can't believe the Spurs have the lead at the half!!
They didn't have Okur either (not equating Duncan to Okur, but Okur is a major part of their offense).
Spurs have a lot more to be hopeful about going into the 2nd half. Jazz were helped a lot by Giricek and Harpring, I'm concerned if those two continue knocking down shots and winning the scrums.
RUFF--you're blind. TD's fouls were legit, the game is being called the way a playoff game should be. Don't turn into a Suns Fan on your own board
WTF??? No they're not! Did you drink the coolaid??? They're calling a foul virtually every trip down the floor! You really ARE blind. Games 1 and 2 they stayed out of it, tonight they've made it "UGLY AS "ball.
The second team has been solid as tonight. Props, men.![]()
Not me.

Duncan is going to bring down the hammer once he stops making bad decisions on the floor. It's rare he lets that happen two halfs in a row.
Absolutely. They did a good job at holding the Jazz off, but you have to have a low post presence against Utah or you don't exploit Boozer and Okur. Duncan is the key to TP's penetration and the 3-point shooters being left open. Plus, the Spurs can't count on maintaining this rebounding advantage the whole game.
No offense, dude, but you're on crack...there's some SERIOUS home cookin' going on tonight...
STFU.
I'm not even complaining about it. I'm explaining it.
I didn't say Tim's fouls weren't legit, but he was also fouled a number of times for no call, as were Manu and Tony. With 2 minutes to go Millsap butchered Manu, no call, next play same happened to Tony, no call, but AS I ALREADY SAID, that's fine, we knew this game would be like this, and our boys will fight through it as they usually do.
Wanker.
not me either
"I wish there was a decent bar in town."
spurs are fine
duncan has played 12 minutes and is rested
