A five hour absence isn't really going to do much. The damage has already been done.

Starbucks doesn't suck. Starbucks' customers suck. And the over-the-top drinks that take 5,000 minutes to order suck. For just a latte or a simple mocha, though, they're darn tasty AND have magically become cheaper than a lot of the places I've seen spring up recently.
Making my own coffee would be my first choice, actually. But since my cousin is trying to cut out caffeine as part of her New Year's resolution, it'd be kind of a move to bring in beans and a grinder and brew up a fresh pot every morning.
Or you could go with Lansing's version of Starbucks.....

I said you were part of the problem, not the entire problem.
This makes me want to go brew a pot right now but it's too late to be drinking caffeine when you already have sleeping issues like I do.
I thought today was Wednesday for some reason that that Project Runway was on tonight. Then I realized it's only Tuesday and the Houswives of Orange County are on instead.
Looks like that little guy might be going down on PR this week.
At least that's what my female co-workers tell me . . . or something.
Hey Funt, you get to watch Project Runway at the same time as the rest of the country tomorrow. How does it feel to not be left out for two hours?
Awww, do you watch PR, FWD? You can admit it!
And I do hope the little guy (Christian) goes down because if I hear him call something "fierce" one more time, I will go postal.
I thought it was Wednesday, too, for some reason.
Built my whole day around going to the Whitney Museum.
Which is closed on Tuesdays.
Went on a completely made up walking tour around the Central Park West area instead that happened (completely by accident) to include some of the buildings that I've always wanted to see.
I'll admit that I've been sucked in to Project Runway. I know nothing about the fashion component -- most of what I dislike wins and most of what I like gets tossed -- but put that many drama queens together and you're sure to get some good TV. This season has been pretty bland to me, though.
I'm with you in hoping Christian is gone, but, sadly, the preview can't really give that away, can it?
Like I'll be left out for a week, instead.
My cousin has no TV.
Yeah, this season has a lot of "pros" who have a very cold demeanor that creates less drama than in the past. It has been a little bland but I think the steely demeanor will start to crack in the next few weeks as it gets tougher and tougher to stay in.
The way I can usually tell who is gone before the episode is over is by who gets their life story told in the first 10-15 minutes. Last week, the hippie chick told about her car accident and how it changed her life, and I knew she was gone. Although I think Sweet P should have been gone instead.
You just can't win, can you?
So, no caffeine and no TV. Two of my favorite things in life.
The no TV would drive me crazy. I can understand why she decided against one -- everything she wants to watch she can get online -- but I rely on mine for background noise when I'm not in the mood for music.
Damn, I'm finding myself thankful for at least having TV. I don't know what I'd do without both!
Are you still doing the no-caffeine thing?
No way in I could do that. I admire your willpower.
My roommate's dog stinks! I am ready to go and throw that thing in the garage![]()
It's bigger than that now. I'm on no caffiene (13 months), no red meat and no booze (6 weeks -- I cheated with a sip of champagne on NYE).

I'm ripping my freakin' hair out and shaking constantly in withdrawal, but I feel just ing great otherwise!!

I have had a stomach thing for the last few days and have been eating a lot of broth and crackers type things, today was the first day to eat actual chicken and since that has stayed down I am now craving a steak and a beer. Six weeks would be painful.
I haven't had booze in like 4 weeks, that will prob change tonight though
I've probably got at least another 6 weeks to go.
My willpower is going to be seriously tested soon -- about the time that my freezer becomes barren enough to make the steaks that are in there visible.
Glad to hear that you might be feeling better, by the way. I envy your cravings.
