Up until Barbarossa, the Nazis biggest losses were in the initial invasion. Polska. And we had second guessing decision making on the cusp and in retreat. We sent our air defense to England and history has rewarded us in credit.
But Polska + Western help as promised + Soviets stay in their side = the Nazi invasion runs out in France at best. If not Polish land.

For the past 500 years. Always on the right side of History. I left in 1988 and I'm likely gonna retire a Polak. It's not a culture that is in your face or overwhelming. A calm undertone knowing politics never wanted us here and alive. Enjoy everyday.
Polska was starved & sent to camps for 2 years, while the USSR sat evidently with thumb up ass because Nazi invasion came as surprise.

I'd say the least Stalin could do is his handling post war. We didn't burn Moscow to the ground and have always treated our neighbors with general respect.
