On WR LV Bunkley-Shelton of Gardena, CA...Inside Texas believes the UT coaches will take him if he's wanting to commit.
He's already discussed the possibility of pulling the trigger while he's in Austin this weekend.
Yeah that’s all I meant. Bc Zach Evans absolutely has the stroke to be able to get just about any of the 2020 in state linemen to follow him. But hes never said anything that shows he’s that guy. In fact, his first bull quality that he said a school had to have for his signature was a championship o-line. He has the leverage to build his own. He could hand pick his o-line from instate. And rather than take that opportunity, he felt the need to on the instate schools and hurt any chances that his teammates may have had at getting those offers. There’s isn’t a snowballs chance in that Bama allows Dameon George to commit there if they don’t think it’s a package deal with Evans. But what did Evans do? He literally said “ bama, and roll tide.” He's special. But he’s also a me-first guy to the detriment of those around him.
So does this mean Johnny Wilson is highly unlikely?
Bunkley is a slot WR.
I'd almost prefer Stone go elsewhere since Milroe seems very solid and is already proving to be a great recruiter for us. I am not for a coach telling a kid he's the only one they'll pursue, but now that Jalen seems fully bought in and we have been recruiting well at this position the last few classes (including '21, obviously), I'm kind of mixed at best about even having someone as good as Stone.
Not sure if the rumors are valid regarding him, but there's some scuttle that he'd be inclined to transfer out fairly early in his career if he doesn't appear to become the starter.
Quick update on RB Ty Jordan of West Mesquite (Inside Texas):
“(Texas) is still interested and they showed me where I’d fit in their system,” Jordan said. "Everything else is good on my end, mostly. Just getting ready for the season.”
“I will,” Jordan said about an official to Texas. “I’ll probably get that set up within the next month. Probably going come to the LSU game, then OV two weekends later (for Oklahoma State).”

I think most sources agree with your take on Stone being a little bit more of a selfish guy. And I think there are a few out there that would agree he’s very talented but that he doesn’t face the compe ion that Milroe, JQJ, and Card do. I think he has a live arm. Beyond that, he doesn’t really quite fit the offense. I’d rather have any of the QBs currently committed to us, as well as maybe one or two others, over Stone.
Another UT crystal ball for S Jerrin Thompson of Lufkin from an Arkansas mod.
Per 24/7, 2021 CB Billy Bowman of Denton Ryan plans on being in Austin for the LSU game.

So many great offensive linemen I'm having a hard time believing we are getting all of them. Tommy and James Brockermeyer are the #1 priority, Priority #2 Savion Byrd, Priority #3 Fill in the last spot.
I was thinking about numbers this cycle. I believe that 1 or 2 spots will be left open for a couple of senior walk-ons to get scholarships. My official belief is 21 ships.
Hopefully Courtland Ford can put together a strong senior season. Coach Yancy could do wonders with his frame. Ford is essentially Shepherd’s build at 6’6” and slightly less weight in comparison at this stage in high school careers
Inside Texas mentioned in their recruiting chat today they expect the staff to be all over Logan-Redding as a fourth DL for this class, if they decide to go after a fourth.

Inside Texas said they're feeling as strongly as they ever have that DE Alfred Collins of Bastrop Cedar Creek will end up at UT.
