Ukraine is worse off today than it was 18 months ago despite $10s of Billion more money and thousands more lives lost.
They should have taken the peace agreement signed on March 2022

All it was was not to join NATO and allow semi autonomy to the Donbas territories but keep them in Ukraine.

Now 2 years later they have lost 25% of their land, 500k young ukranian men and their country is a smoldering pile of garbage

    Play stupid games

    Win stupid prizes

You think it would be better if Russia took over the entire country.

    We get it.
No, they could have had an agreement that didn't up the whole country. And they can have that now...

Except their masters in USA wont let them

Lyndsey said it best. They can fight till their last Uktanian man and we can have their trillions of dollars in resources.

Once all the men are dead we can all go on holiday or Blackstone contracts to Uktaime and all the single women there which will be most lol. Ukranian women are fine as too.

Its all a win for us

You mean like the agreement ceding Crimea?

How did that work out, Neville?

Why will this time be different?

There's going to have to be some type of negotiation one way or another. Ukraine is going to have to compromise.

The comparison to WW2 is so stupid because if Putin is Hitler in your analogy, then it would take a full scale invasion and disarming of Russia to secure the kind of uncompromising victory you wish for. That's what it took to stop Hitler in Germany -- a full scale invasion of Germany that cost countless lives.

Nah, Putin's not going to live forever.

    Negotiations have never stopped Putin.

    You still think they will.

I've already had this conversation with Chumpdumper.

His position is this: Ukraine can't take back Crimea but we should support them until they do anyway.

Putin could live for many many more year and the next man up will probably not be a saint either.

We're never going to "stop" Putin from all his aggression but we need to deescalate this war and stabilize Ukraine so more normal life can return to what is left of it, which is a lot.

No. I also didn't think Ukraine could occupy any Russian territory. You're just not as smart as you think you are, dude.

Deescalate the war means something more like "2014 to before full scale invasion" period at worst. Life was mostly normal for most of the country.

No. I also didn't think Ukraine could occupy any Russian territory. You're just not as smart as you think you are, dude.
So we should take action regardless of what you think is possible? Yeah, you're real smart, dude.

But not stopping Putin's aggression -- because not stopping his aggression will bring peace.

We should absolutely continue to support Ukraine. It's proved to be the smart thing to do.

Stop it how? Full scale invasion of Russia?

No, you said DON'T stop it -- and then peace is assured!

Ukraine is worse off today than it was 18 months ago despite billions more spent and thousands of lives lost.
It would be way worse off if you let Putin do whatever he wants, which is exactly what you want for him.

No. I said you "CAN'T" stop "ALL" his aggression, and you've proposed nothing to stop it and you know it.

You can certainly deescalate from here though. Let's start with a ceasefire.

You don't want that -- you want the full scale war to continue.

    Then what?

Let him rearm and attack again?

you want to reward his aggression with a timeout so he can be more aggressive.

You're not really thinking this through, are you?
