He's been terrible the last 2 seasons, gotta wonder how cheap he will be? Probably not cheap enough.
I could see Hibbert on the Duds for the vet min.

Good call Pierce, it's not like the Cavs PG didn't just win a championship with one of the most clutch shots ever.

If I were the Spurs, I would just stretch Tim right now. I'd tell him if that he could take as long as he wanted to decide and that when he did, there'd be a minimum contract waiting for him. That would actually represent an increase for Duncan if he were to take that deal, so I don't see why he wouldn't go for it. Then I'd tell other teams that we can sign Gasol without dealing Diaw so if they want Boris, they need to trade value for him. Then I'd see where Tim was on coming back. If he says no, then I use that space to sign a big like Dedmon. If he says yes, then I use the cap space on a guard first (because once again, please no Manu) before inking Tim, Bertans and the rookies.
Much rather free up as much cap space as possible next summer rather than stretching Tim b/c there isn't anyone that can be had w/ 4 mill to move the needle.

Considering that the Raptors were starting Scola, I'm pretty sure they would give up a late 1st for Boris.

True, but that's not his point.

Durant also plays the same position as the only guy on the Warriors roster who won Finals MVP.

Tough day for Manu and Tony... Their buddy Boris is going to be shipped out and Tim is on the verge of retiring.

They'll have plenty next summer. The team has to fill out their rotation. Right now they literally have no plan at the backup five. And while $4 Million in cap space isn't a whole lot, going from about $2.5 Million to almost $7 Million is huge.

    I'm just brainstorming
Looks like we have: tony, green, leonard, Aldridge and pau as the starting 5. Bench: Kyle, simmons, Europe guy, boban, mills (2nd unit) last of bench: Murray (rookie) , that's 11 players

LJC and Bertans are both strongly rumored to be coming over (in possible addition to Milutinov), so that makes 12. And as pointed out, that assumes Boban comes back rather than signing elsewhere.

It would be nice if Spurs could at least bring Miultinov over so we have some kind of size on the bench

Can probably get Hibbert for the vet min if he doesn't sign w/ GSW.

If West never plays center maybe he won't be so bad.

He could easily sign with the warriors too, it'd be the same money
