But, it's not a matter of being HIGHLY offended. It's simply a matter of preference. I'd PREFER to see tight bodies in their underwear, but so would you too ladies. (Think Carlos Mencia in a bikini). Meaning...there's limits. In advertising, we're simply programmed. In life, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I think all women are beautiful and these women in these pictures are NO exception.
Have we been programmed to be offended by these to some extent? Probably. I could go on and on, but the fact is that the "Do I wanna see Rosie O'Donnell modeling bikini's?" argument does hold some water
Not every woman looks like Rosie O'Donnell. She is sort of on the ugly end of the spectrum (no offense). The point was that it would be better if they used more realistic, everyday women. Women who may not be the perfect size 0, but maybe a size 6 or 8 and even 12. Women who have flaws like the rest of us...freckles, red hair, blemishes, etc. Just because women have these flaws doesn't make them ugly....the fact remains we'd like to see more regular people than perfect, airbrushed ones.

This woman is GORGEOUS. Shockingly so.... the kind of women that stops you in your tracks. Stops anybody in thier tracks.. even blind people.
She was a "plus size" model for a little bit... she even got a breast reduction to help facilitate her career.. but then she met Joe nad they got married and she out all that aside.
they live in San Marcos now and had baby #1 in August.
I saw her the 1st week of September and she looked so good I wanted to puke.

Seriously though, I think the point is that while yes, we're programmed and in real life beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I like that Dove and Nike are doing something to reverse that.
