Big Ups to Kenny Florian what a job he did in that fight. Now they can sell he and Penn because he dominated Joe-Daddy actually even worse than Penn did. I think Kenny and Penn is a good fight..

The UFC 91 was not stacked but the matchups occured to be very compe ive and really nice. Esp. many JJ actions.
I liked what I saw in jeremy Stevens. The young kid got heart and guts. His defense is really good, this is his second victory I saw and both were against BJJ fighters. so I'm impressed with the performance, if he can improve his ground game he can be top fighter. I will be watching this kid progress, (hopefully)
As for Ken-Flo
He went in like he wated to show Penn that there is acually somebody who can comete with him in the 155 division. Daddy was flat and again he was submitted and again by a choke
Hezelett - I liked what I saw in him when he faced Koshcheck. He needs to work on agression though.
As for Lesnar - he is the new Champ, he got a le shot so fast and he took advetage of him being a freak and showmen. Dana must be happy he have somebody like him - easy to promote a freak.
All in all he was going to fight with his pants full, so I thought Randy even more chances of beating him, but I think Randy also was not so himself, he was trying to get himself into the same feeling of confidence that he had all his career.
That said I need toi watch the fight again, because almost whole 2st round I saw them just hugging cause I had frickin clients! ers. I was over 22 hours without a sleep after the day in which I was feeling bad all day long, plus the quality was bad and the second round which I was watching was being cutted (stream was awefull - too many people were watching).
I don't know now if I want Nog to defend interim or Mir taking it and having a rematch with Lisner ?
Botyh matchup should be interesting and I think both will happen, but which first.
btw. I hate Brock Lesnar, that's it. I'm not taking away nothing from him. I'm not talking much about his success and how great he is cause I'm not happy he won - that is it.
He is still raw as a MMA fighter. Bob Sapp was good one day as well.

Brock is not a freak show...he is a legit NCAA champion who gave up showmanship for true sport. It would be completely different if he was never a real NCAA athlete who came out of the WWF but that's not the case.
Sorry it took so long, but here is my review.
Maia looked great, and dominated.
Hazelett is just as sick as I thought he was.
Jeremy Stephens...that was crazy.
Gonzaga looked very good. (Did anyone notice all the knots on Hendricks?)
Florian-Stevenson...Florian looked great. The only thing I didnt like was we Joe was going for a big slam, Florian grabbed the cage. If Daddy lands that slam, who knows...it might just knock the breathe out of Kenflo and open a spot for a sick sub by Stevenson. I hate cage grabs, and I feel anytime someone is going for a slam and you intentionally grab the cage...a point should be deducted. Florian...you looked great, but I was upset with that.
Lesnar..what can I say...Some say its a lucky punch. I say he wins no matter what. Last night, I never once though Randy would win. I wanted him to, but I didnt think he would. So Bring on Mir, Bring on Nogueira, and when all else fails...Bring on Cain Velasquez and let him show Lesnar what an ass whoopin is!

In here I was going all for Randy. But then again on polish forum I had to defend Brock! quotes like : well there were many great athletes, gigants who was suppose to take the sport by storm but they failed... He is just a freak and Dana wants to promote him to rise popularity...what has he done in this sport? Nothing...He did in this sport as many as Kimbo Slice and once he will get down like Kimbo did

Jeremy "Lil' Heathen" Stephen's uppercut was sick! If not for the replay, I thought it broke right through Dos Anjos' guard.
I also thought Hazelett's arm bar broke Mcrory's arm. Amazing display of JJ.
After watching Kenflo's stand up against Daddy and hearing how much his Muay Thai improved, I didn't expect the fight to end in with a RNC.
Congrats to Brock Lesnar. That punch couldn't have landed in a better spot.
And the thing is, Brock is training his ass off. He has taken this 100% serious and the results are paying off. He got oppurtunities that others would not get so soon for sure but he has made the most of them. He dominated Randy and took the le, so he has earned some respect. And yes for anyone who thinks Brock didn't dominate Randy, re-watch the fight, other than one good punch in the clinch Randy did nothing at all in that fight..
Its a stigma he will have a hard time shaking....a lot of these old pride guys did fake wrestling in Japan between fights to help with bills but they get the slack simply because it isn't as easy to do a google image search in Japanese.
I'm not exactly thrilled someone with so few fights is a champion but it is what it is and its great for MMA. For Gods sake...I was reading the Dallas Morning News paper this morning and my knees almost buckled when I saw that they covered the UFC last night.
I wonder when this sport will be in the same place right there with the sports news "every day".

At the begining it was JJ and wrestlers which were brawlers.
Now it's tougher. And people are acually training MMA, not one combat sport and making transition.

There were turmanents I can't remember how they were called but they were challenging styles. For excample a boxer with boxing glove agains JJ guy I knew from the begining who will win this

Randy is a legend and he's also a hero to many fighters in the sport. He is one of the most well liked and respected guys to ever compete in MMA. Plus there has to be some jealousy towards Brock, getting so much so quick here..

Just estimating....but from every MMA site I saw and video I would say it was roughly 55% Randy 45% Brock.

Tough to see Randy dominated so easily, but it was exciting to see Brock with an improved Striking game. I can't wait to see him in there with a Velasquez or Carwin. Big boys that can punch.

I can understand the hate for Lesnar initially. But to see the way he works, and the success he's had against the compe ion he has should quiet any of the haters. The dude is the real deal, and if he keeps working and improving he'll be a force for a long ass time.

LAS VEGAS - In a stunning upset, Brock Lesnar became the first man to capture both the WWE Championship and the UFC Heavyweight Championship when he defeated UFC fan favorite Randy "The Natural" Couture on Saturday night in Sin City.
Lesnar, dubbed "The Next Big Thing" upon his arrival in WWE, earned the moniker and his first WWE Championship in 2002 after besting The Rock at SummerSlam. Thanks in large part to the backing of the WWE Universe, the former college wrestling phenomenon went on to regain the le twice, both times against Kurt Angle, once at WrestleMania in 2003 and then six months later on SmackDown.
For Lesnar, the road to UFC gold proved surprisingly short. Within roughly six months, the former WWE Superstar climbed to the top of the ultimate fighting heap, capping his ascent with the upset victory over Couture.
Critics have noted that many of the fights on the UFC pay-per-view ended in the first round, leaving UFC producers scrambling to fill the three-hour event with content. The dearth of hearty compe ion left many viewers to watch less prestigious under-card fights and only served to bolster claims that UFC pay-per-view events can often be a "crap shoot" in regards to filling the full three hours.
For his part, Lesnar took the encouragment of the WWE Universe and the hard lessons forged during his fiery time at WWE and showed UFC and the world why he is not only a man of mettle but also a former three-time WWE Champion.
That was a terrific card last night! Very entertaining, but I'm a little depressed about Randy getting KO'd. I thought he'd beat Brock's ass, but Lesnar was just too damn big. I think they should consider adding another weight class like "Super Heavyweight." It's just not fair to fight somebody that outweighs you by 40 lbs.
Randy has always been a small heavyweight, most of the heavyweights in the UFC are 240 and up or close to it.. Mir and Nog are fighting for the le and they are both around 250..
