I don't think Beck is an NBA player but he'd be a very good add for the Toros.
Too hard for me to tell who is who.
I too am worried about Ian's aggressiveness.
Yeah same here.. but is there any chance beck can make the team? I know this is just one game but if continued playing like that on offense.. he seems like a nice player to have on the team.

Not much has happened during this game. Hill wasn't spectacular but did not suck. Blair is rebounding nicely and had a good 15 footer go in, but was 1/2 for FT's. He looks pretty tone, and his 'baby fat' if he ever had any is gone. To me it looks like Beck and Blair are running the show. McClinton hasn't done much. Beck's made a couple 3's and took on the PG position nicely when driving to the hoop. Hill missed a pass to Hairston (mistimed it). Mahinmi hasn't shown much either. Ian's missed a couple of short-mid jumpers/turnarounds and his defense has not been spectacular. Ian's length though is certainly appealing and at age 22 and one game in the SL, don't be quick to pounce on him. Donnell Taylor made a nice shot earlier in the game as well. Darren Collison put some nice moves on GHill and made his way to the basket. Some fouls on both teams. Spurs have been trailing the Hornets ever since I tuned in. By 6, then 4, and finally by 2. Halftime score is 41-39 Hornets.
Blair was 3/4 on FT's not 1/2

I'm actually slightly pleased with Mahinmi.
Last week I re-watched all his 08 SL games, I think I had 5 on tape from LV and RMR.
He's moving better this year. Still not blocking out too well or anything else, but he's moving with some relative quickness compared to last year, and almost looks as if there's some urgency.
8 rebounds in 11 minutes makes me in my pants, even if it's lulzsummer league
Hill still not being a point guard, but nice scoring from him. Beck is a pleasant surprise. Gist, Mahinmi and Hairston are only surpassed in invisible-ness by McClinton.

I'm really impressed with Blair. It's not just the rebounds but he's really active on both ends.
Hill is pretty solid. A few mistakes but I like his aggressiveness.
Beck is a complete surprise to me. Quick first step and gets to the basket pretty easily. Nice looking jumper too.
McClinton and Gist have not impressed at all. I know it's 1 game and all that but this is there chance to put it all out there and show the coaches they deserve a spot on the roster. Plenty of time to turn it around but not making the best 1st impression.
Ian looks like a bust to me.
The thing I like about Hill is his confidence. I'm hopeful that his confidence will be a lot higher heading into his second season. When he's confident and attacking, he's more than good enough to be a backup point.
The drive followed by the dunk in traffic is something we didn't see last year. We also didn't see the alleyoop play in the halfcourt setting out of him. Those types of things will increase his value tremendously if he can keep it up.
I want there to be more pick-and-rolls so we can see if he's worked on that aspect of his game.
Sorry, I meant his first two FT's, those were the ones I saw. I must have turned away on the other two.

Overall the official stream is pretty good today. Flash has more detail than the system they used in the past, and the choppiness when the camera moves/zooms has been greatly reduced.
