I do not blame RJ one bit. TP is the PG. He is the man who is suppose to be able to get these guys some easy shots. He has the ability and has proved in the past. The only conclusion that is left is that TP must be stupid. There doesn't seem to be any other reason to keep playing the same way expecting different results.

We simply need a corner 3 that can defend.

    Udoka!
He'd brick as many layups as he'd miss 3 pointers.

Maggette is a good fit on this team. Better than RJ.

Maggette can shoot the midrange jumper and can get to the line. I thought about it before putting up that offer and yeah I think he'd be better here. Spurs went after him the year before too, so I would guarantee you Maggette would bust his ass for us and at least try to play defense like he never has.

You think RJ is a better fit here?
No, wasn't I the one who posted that I'd prefer Maggette a few moments ago?

Problem is, Maggette is 9-11 mil over the next 4 seasons, he's already 30, and he's injury-prone. I wouldn't take on any players with cap-killing salaries beyond 2012 when Tim is going to retire.

Who do the spurs want to be? Offensive juggernaut? Or defensive an? I mean, we can't be a chameleon of ourselves, if you get what I mean. We can't go both ways without knowing which one we'll always fall back on..
I do agree that Spurs do not have am iden y. What kind of team are they? My hopes that they develop into a defencive one.

Turnovers are another ridiculous problem. Chemistry is one thing; controlling the ball is another. One game out of 4-5 where it is particularly bad might be acceptable, but how many games have we strung together where TOs were a major issue?

That's the guys getting nervous because of their record and forcing things. And TP being gassed. And Manu getting re-acclimated with his body. AND chemistry trouble.

30% 3 point shooting... 11 turnovers at the half... How's the rebounding?

Spurs have 26, Warriors have 21. We should be owning the glass more on this small ball Warriors team. No excuses.

I disagree. RJ is a better long distance shooter, and hes a better creator off the dribble, and a better passer. If Jefferson was with the Warriors playing that up and down no defense 120 possession a game basketball - he could be a 22-7-4 player. Maggette's stats are inflated.

spurs did not have a turnover problem tell 8-9 games a row

one team got them and other teams watched film and a doing the same thing to them

they need to watch film and adjust

Can't agree. Chemistry = low TOs. TOs are mostly caused by people being in the wrong place in the wrong time, or misunderstanding one another, which is a lack of chemistry/cohesion/interplayer understanding/however the you want to label it.
