Hills length affected Nash on all of one possession. You might as well go with Manu on him as much as possible with Tony taking the rest of the minutes because Nash found his way past Hill pretty much at will.
who has? dumb

Tough quarter, but with the Spurs outshot by 30% and only down 9 it's not that bad.
Keep Manu on Nash ...Hill is the better fundamemntal defender but Manu is ...a warrior.
He wont let Nash break him down without fighting like !
that last shot was on the floor. what the kind of continuation call was that
Hill might as well just lay off of Nash and let him shoot open 3's. Any trying to play up on Nash is turning into easy layups, especially with Tim not playing any help defense whatsoever...
I like that the Spurs are making Nash be a scorer. It keeps the other guys from getting into a flow on offense.
Just need to do a better job of cutting off Nash's path to the rim... make him shoot jumpers and the Spurs win this game going away.
Nash can't keep up this pace, especially with a sore hip.
Indeed.
On the other end however, the Suns have pretty much failed completely at defending the pick and roll. Manu should have a passing field day with that.
Less fouls, better D on Nash, and more Pick and Roll.
Pop has to stop running the dope lineups. Pop a dope lineup Bonner, Blair and Mason Jr.
Need to win the second quarter big. Have to
You gotta make Nash score but you have to make it more difficult than a layup line.
I've never figured out why Hill moves like a 38-year-old against quick point guards.
If our guard go to the basket we can get nash in foul trouble.
you Mason.
anyone feel nash is pushing so much too early already?
Also I bet Pop will get Hill to adjust ...
Ok, Tony needs to play the rest of the game. Manu needs to stop settling for jumpers.
And somebody, PLEASE, Tim is rolling on the screens and the Suns are just ignoring him because nobody wants to try guarding him!
the only time i thought the spurs were comfortable was when they gave the ball to duncan on the post - they can't guard him. .. they can't guard parker's penetration either. the spurs need to play duncan going forward and hope he doesnt brick more FTs and buy more cars for pop
What the was that?
Shot clock violation, not a good start to the 2nd quarter.
ginobili is not right anymore.
Amare/Nash out.....it's gotta happen now
