The A&M and Texas rivalry is nothing to most Texas fans.

According to most texas grads I know OU is #1 and Texas A&M is #1A.
This is only because OU is a perennial football power right now while A&M has been turned by incompetent Franny into a more-hyped version of Baylor.
When OU sucks, they slip down to 1A.

It makes perfect sense. In ANY sport when a&m beats Texas even if they are supposed to they make the biggest deal out of it. When Texas beats a&m it's no big deal.

Actually I would completely agree. Look at it from my standpoint. To OSU, our rival is uo. To uo, OSU is a pain in the ass and their rival is UT. Of course, there is no other rival across ALL sports than the Bedlam, but when it comes to football it is different. Sure UT hates to lose to atm, but uo hates to lose to OSU. That doesn't make them the biggest rival.
