Per Adam Schefter:
"The NFL is having a hard time implicating anyone in this, any fall guy. I don't know if they will ever find someone responsible. Therefore, the NFL might just decide to fine the Patriots as an organization without any proof of any wrongdoing."
Just please be as butthurt as possible when nothing comes of this.
lack of understanding of physics. Balls lose pressure when they go from warmer to colder temperatures. Why is this so hard to understand?
Not that much pressure.
i won't be. when this started i was on record saying i doubted much would come of it
but in the meantime i'm enjoying the hysteria
Partriots about to hold a press conference. Everyone obviously thinking it's something major. Hopefully they're announcing McDaniels is leaving.
What a colossal waste of time this is. All he's doing is reiterating the same lies he and Brady told on Thursday.
LOL people still desperate for some action to be taken over nothing.
"Please disqualify them so my team can play![]()
"
Belichick just delivered a serious ass ramming to the media and all haters. Anybody who says otherwise is in complete denial.
At What temperature were the balls checked at after inflation Mr. Physics?
It's amazing how Belichick went from being completely ignorant on Thursday to being a wannabe science expert on Saturday. Meanwhile, zero explanation for how the "atmospheric conditions" didn't have any affect at all on the Colts' footballs. Either that, or the Colts need to explain how they managed to get the laws of physics to not apply to them.
He's talking out of his ass.
You sound desperate.
"Desperate" is calling THREE press conferences to deny and deflect after being caught cheating.![]()
Another "wedindonuffin" is an ass-ramming?
> QBs couldn't tell balls were deflated, except Brady said he likes under-inflated balls
> Rubbing balls increases PSI
I've heard it all
internal investigation
what's next, is Aaron hernandez going to reveal the results of his internal investigation of the murder case?
Nice spinjob by ESPN (aka the Patriots Network) framing this completely legitimate point as "paranoia," BTW.
Not inflating the balls to a high enough PSI before they're given to the refs pregame isn't against the rules at all, at that point the refs can inflate/deflate the balls at their own discretion and it's on them to get the pressure right. It's not New England's responsibility to account for what effect their prepping/rubbing/whatever done before the balls are given to the refs pregame will have on the ball pressure, they're simply not allowed to alter the balls after that point.
None of that would be in violation of league rules. It's up to the refs to ensure balls are at proper PSI before and during games. If no Patriots doctor balls after the official check, they've done nothing wrong. Don't blame the Patriots for more referee incompetence.
You're just spinning this story to protect your cheating coach and QB! Science and rules don't apply when the Patriots are involved! BeliCHEAT (get it?) should have accounted for the NFL not being able to understand basic physics! Every other coach does!
and all week ESPN has been nailing the Patriots. Mark Brunell cried at Brady's "lack of integrity". Wilbon demanded they withdraw from the Super Bowl. Mortensen was the ing guy who started this whole storm. To say ESPN has been in the Pats corner means either (a) you're literally a mentally re ed human being, (b) you haven't actually watched ESPN at all this week, or (c) your Pats haterade level us so through the roof you can't comprehend basic English within a five minute window of hearing the words "Belichick" or "Patriots"
