I think that is the most significant aspect of this game.
Without TD, we look like a mid team.
Without Kawhi, forget it. We would be tankastic.

We wouldn't be a contender without any of these guys but we'd be a playoff team still if we lost any single player.

Wizards are playing two penetrating pgs and that is a difficult task for the Spurs even with Tim.

I've been anticipating Pop doing this. Doesn't really let new players who aren't established without a couple of check yourself games.

The best pairing for LMA/West/Boris/Boban is probably LMA/Boris & Boban/West

I believe Pop is going to play both as he seems fit for some games.
Simmons may end up getting the spot going into the rodeo road trip, but Kyle has played well for us some games and he's being developed for now or for next year. If he's not playing then he should go back to the dleague then. I am not opposed to him going to the d'league either...
but since he's here, he needs to grow up, man up, or whatever you want to call it.

This Wizards team likes to run score, no plays just fast breaks. WAS, OKC, and TOR should be games where Kyle should never get any minutes IMO

I actually thought Pop slowly started giving chances to everyone, Butler, then Kyle, then Simms, Ray and Boban got some games, and finally Bonner.

At this point, Pop assessed that RAy is not ready to run the offense and needs to work on it, so he went to the dleague. Everyone else seems like they can contribute.
It's not about one game for Pop is about getting better.

I believe we will see Simmons again. For all we know, this might be a test for Kyle. He's being more aggressive in situations, where before I have seen him defer and pass the ball. He might need more coaching or more dleague time, or he could come out of his passive funk. Pop just has to put him in situations to find out. He's on a short leash.

tbqh, Duncan's made a lot of bigs look much better than they actually are just by playing next to them. '99 DRob is probably the only truly great big TD ever played next to. Everyone else since then has been a role player. Jury is still out on LMA - needs to bring it in the playoffs for the first time in his career to earn some respect imo.
