Don't they realize he'll deport both of us?

Uruguay's players were more emotionally out of control than usual this game, but between the anthem screw up and the fans brawling and throwing on the field, IMO it was somewhat justified though it ultimately hurt them more than it helped. with suarez uruguay wins this on cruise control, mexico may have had more control of the ball and better counting stats but in truth their attack greatly struggled to create danger until the last 10 minutes, while uruguay wasted 1v1s and quick counters. He made a good 1v1 save, but otherwise the mexican goalie was TERRIBLE, easily the worst mexican goalie ive ever seen.
andat DAF already pumping up mexico to excuse messi for losing this cup. Argentina is the mega favorite, and if they lose this tournament they all deserve to have their passports removed- players, coaching staff, AFA, everyone but the janitor.

when I see comments section in spanish sports forums, it makes spurstalk look like Mother Theresa's online blog tbh
the racism and talking is meteoric when its between them south/central americans.
I actually don't read those sites anymore. its too much
have to partially agree. Uruguayans can dish it but seems they cannot take it.
apparently Urugay has beenpersecuted for years by FIFA

Mexico looking strong and they're essentially playing @ home. I'd pencil them as favorites to win this tbh. Expected more from USA @ home.
Best post whatsoever. the emotional toll of the national anthem cluster definitively showed. I thought it'd motivate them but instead it made them feel that it was them against the world and they fell into a troll trap.
Things to note and to comment until they play again:
National Anthem troll job (likely by a Chilenean employee). if I was Godin I would have taken the players out of the protocol formation UNTIL they played the national anthem. From what i heard from the players in the stadium there was no sound at all.
Mexies throwing on the pitch and injuring Pato Sanchez wife
Hand ball on Mexico second goal?
Line referee grabbing his crotch and telling Muslera "THIS is a hand"
Gimenez insulting/attacking Mexico coach
That's a lot of things happened on this one game...
It's not an excuse. It's not being a re and actually knowing something about football. We have already been through this with Chile last year and I ended being right, as 99% of the time.
No matter the compe ion, if you spend 20 games unbeaten, 10 games winning in a row and I don't remember how many games without even allowing a goal, you're doing something right. These two same Argentina and Mexico teams played not too long ago and Mexico run circles around Argentina; but apparently now, for some odd reason, Argentina should be the "mega favorite" in a match between the two![]()
You can spin what you want, Argentina with the best player in the world should have won last one and should win this one. Any other results would be an upset. C'est la vie
Sometimes best player doesn't mean best team.
I agree of course but ... let's not act like Argentina was a tiny powerhouse with marginal talent players and like Messi is the George Weah of the Liberia because it is not the case... at all
Brazil doing work![]()
now watching panama bolivia game. what kind of darkness does make me watch this game i dont know.
Panama looking fine without Messi tbqh
Brazil going in raw

bolivian s would probably play better if they had coca plants in the field and part of the game involved gathering leaves tbqh
to be fair its raining like a mofo
I'm ok with losing against Chile if that means facing Mexico.
MissT is out. That means Vagintina has a good chance. I say Vagintina wins 2-1
Panama might get second place in that group, tbh
it I'm predicting it now, loser of Chile-Argentina doesn't make it past the group stage
yup they are without that black hole. they will play loose and win
Argentina needs to learn how to play without Messi, they struggled against C-level teams like Colombia when he was out.
