- We started off atrocious, they went up 9 on us in the first 3 minutes
- We then started hitting some shots but couldn't get a stop to save their life in the 1st quarter. Trailed 29 to 30 after one period
- After a few minutes of ing around we finally stepped it up in the 2nd quarter and took charge of the game a bit, tightened up a bit on D, went up 12 briefly
- Late in the 2nd quarter the Bucks made a run, got some bogus calls, free throw parade, etc... but the Spurs kept hitting shots
- We're winning 60–49 at halftime

You know, I think he would feast too. Some nights I'd love to be in Pop's head. Not ing, the Spurs are up 60-49, and the adjustment was obviously a good one. But I'd still love to know what he's thinking for not putting Boban in. Nearly anyone else would have, I think.

I am thinking its something that you want to use strategically. Same way we don't run and gun like GSW do all game, controlling pace is important at times. But when our shots are not falling, and you need a jolt you can go to it.

If we had them play together most of the time, it would not have the same effect I think.

Exactly, if shots aren't falling and offense becomes stagnant, put in the athletic crew that will drive, which will change he pace and then you can fall back into outside game when the defense is now leaving you open on the outside.

Boban's transition defense isn't great and this is a herd of gazelles. Bucks is the right name for them. These ers are fast.

Simmons is indeed much more athletic and his pairing with Kawhi is spectacular.... but you need 4 wings not just 2.

Danny still out there and so is Slow-Mo. Manu won't be around maybe not even after this season. Just got to enjoy the show.

Maybe he worries with this ref crew they'll call a bunch of fouls and it will slow the pace of the game. Our pace and momentum was carrying us in the 2nd quarter and he didn't want to mess with it.

Simple. Boban camps out in the paint (getting one foot out every 3-4 seconds or so to avoid illegal defense) and waits to get a block or rebound. If Henson wants to fill up on jumpers, let him.

Watching Boban move in and out of the paint to avoid the defensive 3 seconds is like watching ballet. So many big stiffs just camp. Boban works every second he's in there. And when he comes back, he's always working on position.

I appreciate the little things.
