Can't believe there was a watchable dunk contest tonight, tbh..I'm genuinely shocked..

The NBA got a great dunk contest in an International country, featuring 2 light-skinned finalists(with the 2 dark-skinned s failing miserably, including Steve Nash embarrassing one of them, sadly)..they couldn't have asked for more..

The "sitting" dunk was slightly better. That one was iconic.
    True that.

Man, I'm freaking out over here...Did you not hear all the old timers trying to play down this dunk contest...As if Dominque Wilkins can do any of Aaardon Godron dunks..

I always cringe when they show Jordan and Wilkins' terrible dunks and act like we don't see them a few times a week in regular NBA season games..

Most of the players in the corner were clearly cheering for Lavine, tbh..barely reacted to Gordon and overreacted to Lavine, definitely had an impact on perception IMO..

Draymond was fair though, Imo..Probably the only guy who didn't have a dog in the contest..

Gordon entourage was weak as ..Payton and Hezonja barely did anything,.

Draymond and Westbrook cheered for him, everybody else was clearly in Lavine's corner..look at the reactions on the replays, most of the players were giving fuel to Lavine's "meh" dunks..

Agreed. Pretty evident that KAT and Wiggins and all those guys were pulling for LaVine and the fact they barely reacted to Gordon's insane 'sitting' dunk was laughable imo.

Booker is gonna be an All-NBA caliber player imo. Kid can play.
He's like Klay with better handles.

Gordon should have won, but the final round was actually entertaining to watch. The NBA needs to dump the long ass intros though.

I didn't notice Westbrook in both Lavine and Gordons dunks though. Sad to see the best Dunker of all time losing..He'll probably get a consolation prize next year but I dont see how anyone can replicate Gordons night...Not humanly possible.

Gordons dunks is the Peak of athletic excellence, IMO.

SHould probably just do the same dunks next year..Just add some weak wrinkle to it.

Jon Stewart looks happy to be there. He's also aged about 20 years since I last saw him a few months ago.

He is just not wearing makeup & isn't groomed like he was REQUIRED to do so when he was on TV.

I'm more impressed with Steve's skill than Drummond's dunk.
His dad was a soccer coach.
