The one putting the ball on the floor was Garino, had a hook shot and a dish to LJC, that he didn't finish just cause.. but the pass was fine. Garino has a high IQ, and is a better defender. Forbes can definitely shoot though. Since I think shooting is a big concern, maybe they do pick up Forbes and send Garino to the dleague, to be picked up if J.Simms finally gets on the doghouse for real.

By the looks of it, D-Lee is going to play a ton of minutes this season just like I predicted.
I wasn't impressed by anyone at the end. Arci is a virtual cut apparently, or maybe he gets a final look the next game and this was the make or break game from Lapro, which he didn't impress in. I actually prefer to roll with Dijon and let him learn at this point.
Forbes is terrible on defense, and even when he tries, he just doesn't have the physical tools to do anything. He in fact needs to be hot to impact the game. Spurs are concerned about shooting though bc even though he's been underwhelming in all 3 games (the one we did not watch, he didn't show anything looking at his stats), he still gets playing time.

The problem really is Kyle has to shoot, maybe get in a chucking mode for a change.
The other problem and that one is tougher is Deadman.
he didn't get good open looks in this one as far as I could tell, but he nailed a pretty jumper from the foul shot area. Defense needs work though.

I'd agree. Some of it was he got stuck with some crappy guards but a lot of its on him on O. On D he started OK but faded.

I think they do pick someone up, they can always cut someone if they need it. They have done that the past couple of season.
Though I don't know how having to cut Ray Mac, the Butler will sit with Pop in a redux. It's tougher on the locker room too I imagine.
I think I am partial to Garino... but wouldn't surprise me if they go Forbes for the shooting.
