I remember Pop starting Bonner against OKC because he pulled Ibaka away from the rim. They should try a similar strategy with Jordan. Pau or LMA are respectable shooters, why not try and spread the court. They clearly aren't going to go to work in the post like we'd like, so maybe having them camp at the 3 point line will work better

Manu also shouldn't have sat this game. The Clippers are backcourt heavy and we need every guard we have to beat these guys.
Playing Murray against Choke-P, to close out a quarter no less.

Doc probably has blackmailed Pop about a tape he has of Pop from one of those days they shared a 10 bottles of wine.

I hear the refs are calling over-the-back on Kawhi to reverse that tip-in.
Of course they are. May turn this game off soon if this is what's in store. Spurs are ting the bed but the refs are on something today.

I'm still pissed about that. I can live with a missed call. But you can't just let the refs make up as they go. That's just bad for the game.

Anderson four points, three boards and two steals in six minutes. Dude needs to be the first wing in in the third.

    Pau is horrible defensively
LMA is scared of DJ, Tim needs to teach LMA on how to punish DJ, LMA needs to do some pump fakes to get some fouls
If refs aren't going to allow any kind of defense on Paul then they may as well call this game

You can't call a foul on a replay

You do know they can just put Blake on that guy or another stretch 4 right. Besides its not like our bigs can finish against guys 5 inches shorter than them

Part of this is on PATFO and coaching staff: Clips have been a thorn in our asses for near three year now, yet zero tactical adjustment or player moves to counter them..

Pop resting Manu = built-in excuse & waving the white flag

LOL, Pop psyching himself out, clearly intimidated by the mighty Doc Rivers.

Imagine if we threw that 16 mil on a PG rather than throwing it on one of the most pussified big man in the league
The PG doesn't bother me as much only cause Mills closes games and plays more on most nights. I get the loyalty from the Spurs... But a big who wasn't pussified would be amazing. Like a Milsap or someone who plays with heart.

I just hope and still believe Dedmon will become the starter at some point.

Was there a 16 mil PG available this year? There were 6 mil PG's that we could have paid 16 mil.

Bull , he's awful and has no idea when to pass and when to shoot. He's playing hero ball on a night when the Spurs are taking pitiful shots. He shouldn't be getting more than 10 MPG tops at this stage of his career.
I'll side with the second best coach of all time over you, sorry man.

I'm f'n sick of losing to these Clippers. Ever since we swept them in 2012 playoffs they've been a real pain in the ass.

Win or lose, let's show some moxy in the second half.

Media: Pop is a genius.....when the league zags, he zigs by assembling a frontline that can't defend a PnR.

Old Duncan use to work DJ in the post. Of course he got some flashy blocks sometimes but he look like a bad post defender vs Timmy. LMA makes him look great.

I mean specifically whoever Jordan is guarding, should go out and pull him away. Both our bigs, if nothing else are respectable shooters.

LMA since that offensive foul BS reversal call hasn't been the same. We've seen him a handful of times this year against respectable defenders just back guys down and do what he wants. I just don't get why he can't do it more

PATFO has been on legacy/loyalty mode since 2014. Overpaying to keep Tony and Manu on the team.

We're missing a Hall of Famer and clearly the best playmaker on the team, plus our best PG is in foul trouble...

Gotta hope we can mount a comeback and the bigs make some plays...
