We would have won if Pop didn't have his head up his ass.

The offense should have been run through Manu in the fourth in the last six minutes. It didn't, and it looked like .

Defensively, I think we all knew Finley couldn't guard Carmelo, so I don't know why Pop thought he could.
Come on dude, they are tired.

They just had a few days off, they played last night, most of them played about a half an hour, then they had to drive to the airport and get on a luxurious private airplane, they got to their 5 star hotel rooms at 2, slept til noon, had some food, chilled out the rest of the day and showed up for a shootaround, ate again, and had to go out and play the World Champion First Round and out nuggets......

What did you expect? They are in tired dude. Those are extreme cir stances.

    Damn.

Denver deserved to win. They were more aggressive.
Um, we had the lead. We blew it by letting Tony go one on five the last the 6 minutes of the game and sitting Bowen on the bench while Melo raped Finley.

    absolutely pathetic

a complete meltdown in the 4th quarter and no heart whatsoever. denver's defense really isnt that great, these offensive lulls is what could easily prevent us from winning it all. the end of the 3rd quarter is where we ed up letting denver take the lead. we have official lost hca throughout the playoffs with detroit's win tonight barring any major injury to their starting 5

i'm still waiting for that playoff form to take shape but it just isn't happening
The Spurs showed a lot of heart, Tim especially, they just couldn't pull it out. They didn't get the calls, Denver did, and Melo just went off. They came from 18 down, so it wasn't too bad. That, and Denver has had a few days off while this is a B2B for us.

This used to happen to Fin in Dallas all the time. He'd shoot good in the first half and then only get 2 shots in the 2nd half. Pathetic that he was 4-8 in the first half and only get 2 shots in the 2nd half. Both in the 4th quarter, I believe, and 1 was when the game was already over.
I find it hard to believe that the spurs offense bothers him this much. He has one good game and then can't hit the ocean for like 5 games straight.

Ther's no back to backs in the Finals. And usually happen in the PO's when 1 series is lond and the opponent's is short. The way the West matches up, I doubt that happens.

You get an unguardable jump shooter + aggressive players + td watching opposing players get offensive rebounds with his ailing leg + horrible plan on continually going one on one against melo + horrible turnovers via traveling or idiocy +ineffective shooters namely FIN, BENO + the fact that the spurs are playing a b2b you are probably looking at a LOSS.

LOL You're always so full of Doom and Gloom. Have a little faith in your guys!

    Not everyone's an idiot here...

The guy's jumping off the bandwagon early like alot of people will be doing in the next couple of months..

Personally, I don't care about HCA in the finals..

I just want it throughout the playoffs...

If we don't have HCA in the finals and we face the Pistons and lose because of it, we're not a championship team.

    Simple as that..

thats a fair assessment but it'd be nice to have hca like we did in game 7 which was a bigger help than people give it credit for

    Agreed!

Pops was sleep on the job tonight -- I think Barry is quicker than Finley and he would have been just as effective shooting as Finley was tonight!

ing A, we didn't get screwed by the refs. Joey Crawford T'ed up half the ing Nuggets team for crying out loud.

Melo went off because Pop had his head up his ass and apparently thought Bowen had six fouls, not four, because he set him on the bench the last six minutes of the game while we went from up 2 to down 10 while Anthony slapped Finley.

And then on offense you had Manu who was white hot standing on the far end of the court while Tony tried to play Superman.

    And we lost.

he's a pistons fan not a hornets fan. we wont go up 3-0 on detroit in a series unless you mean 3-0 to start off a game points wise then yes
