if you are denver you have to trade jake now
you have to try to get something for him
Oh, wait, that's right, you are the one who wanted to win with Mark Brunell, weren't you?![]()
if you are denver you have to trade jake now
you have to try to get something for him
so you are ok for tanking this season and playoffs
injuries in football happen all the time
chargers,colts could get hurt
then by default bronco's can go along way
I agree cutler could be way better then jake but you are tanking this season
but you have to find out what culter can do
denver was in a division race before they lost today though
redskins had no shot at making playoffs
denver does
not the same thing
Though I see points on both sides, the Broncos were winning with Plummer, and I don't see how taking a rook through what is sure to be a painful learning curve helps your team's chances. They were a playoff team w/ Plummer with potential and now unless Cutler takes a Romo-esque run and rails off four straight wins I see them as one-and-done in the playoffs. AFC is just too friggin tough this year to be ing around in week 13 with a rookie QB.
Experience? He may not get said experience! He may end up costing them a playoff berth if he has many more games like this. The AFC isn't nearly as wide open as the NFC.
Oh, Plummer > Brunnell. Plummer is bad, but he can string together good games. He did get them to the AFC championship last year. They definetly have a chance to win with Plummer. I don't think its a very big chance, but its definetly not hopeless.
I concede that Cutler may very well improve over the next few games. Look at how Romo bounced back after a horrible 2nd half against the Giants in his first game this year. But he's got a TON of improvement to make in a very short time.
I am not a jake fan I have seen card games
I live in az I wanted jake gone
but he is getting the shaft in denver
denver's coach needs to be FIRED
There were stories that the Bronco players were fed up with Plummer and wanted a change.
If Cutler strings another game or 2 like this will they think about going back to Jake?
after culter plays today the players might want jake
nice that players decide what is best for denver now not coaches
is that why bell never ran for over 100 yards in one half for jake
Yeah, cause Jake Plummer = winning legacy.
well denver fans got what they wanted
and they got their big loss today in 11 degree weather with the wind chill
sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
sad for those idiots who started this
Hey, they were one game away from the SB last year. It wasn't all on Jake, either.
So what changed your mind since last week when you said this was a panic move? Surely not anything you saw on the field today...
Look at Plummer's history: they guy is dumb and doesn't have a professional at ude.
Here's another quote from the Cards fan about him:
And while I'm at it. Jake's first year in Denver he was quoted talking about how much better the Broncos offseason workout program was, the facilities etc. When an Arizona writer called him on it and said how would you know, you never attended offseason workouts as a Card, Jake admitted it was true but said "I heard from others it was a joke." Starting QB, highest paid player on the team, not attending offseason workouts? He admitted last year that he never watched film in Arizona, he used to hold foosball tournaments at his house, he says he has no time for that now he's always watching film, he was very immature as a Card and it wasn't all lack of people to show him the right way, he just didn't care he realized he'd still get paid and they weren't going to bench him or trade him.
only if their coach listens to denver fans instead of actually making a decions based on what is best for the football team not fans
denver fans are spoiled they think every quarterback is suppose to be john elway
if you played for the card would you bother giving your best effort? the culture of losing there is near impossible to shake... /partial sarcasm
I understand about Plummer's history but why do you no longer think this is a panic move? And no matter how stupid Plummer is (I agree w/ this to an extent) how does a rook on a learning curve make your team better?
he was watching film in denver though
what has what he did with the cards have to do what he is doing with a much better coach and training program
plumber was a big reason they went deep in the playoffs last year
PERIOD
jake knew they might win 3 games that whole year
he should not have done that but he should have prepared better

post 27 ShoogarBear posted panic move
not sure why he is defending culter tonight
Put the pieces together.
-Coach who has one two Super Bowls
-Team went to AFC Championship game last year.
-Winning record this year and in good shape for the playoffs.
How big of a up do you have to be to have your team and coach bench you in that situation?
Given Plummer's history, sounds like he's back to his usual tricks.
denver is going to have to play alot better to beat the chargers next week
cutler is going to be sacked 5 times atleast also
Sorry to have to spell it out for you, but there's nothing inconsistent with what I've been saying.
