Damnit. Not only did I not know about this, but there was a lecture by Chuck D at Laurie Auditorium today/tonight, which is now postponed.
I would have taken off work to go see that.
WTF? as soon as i posted that, i heard a little tapping on the back door. i looked out the window and it was sleeting little pellets.
Three more hours to go.

I woke up to sleet. The last model runs from about 7 this morning STILL predict snow. That it is sleeting this hard at 1pm makes me really want to believe that snow is coming. The next model runs come out soon, and the NWS should have a new discussion soon. I expect them to put the mention of snow back into the forcast.
The damn tempature hasn't gone up at all and has even dropped a bit here. Everything is now covered with ice. I'm going to go outside in a bit and take pictures. If I die, Joe can have my TV if Jess doesn't want it.
Oh, and if you're at work that just sucks. Things probably got much worse after I went to bed this morning consiering the temp continued to drop and the rain started up again. Just bad timing.

I woke up LJ to come see the ice/sleet but he said to let him sleep until it's actual snow

I stayed at my office for about 2 hrs, cancelled appointments and brought work home (ha!). Can you believe we actually had 2 people come in to interview today? That's determination.
And why is Steve Browne still on my TV?
Man, I love Steve Browne because of the way he explains everything. I already know most of what he explains, but I enjoy listening to him.
My friend and her husband are here for the meteorologist convention and says that all they are excited as that this is happening while they're here (considering that SA doesn't usually get this kind of weather). She's just annoyed that she's pretty much socked in at the hotel and can't go out to see any of her friends while she's here.

I drove pretty much between 35-55 mph to and fro work today and there were people driving at least 70 out there. Why are people so stupid?
