Well lets see, Alonzo Mourning said good defenders get called dirty inlcuding him(don't know what happened to that thread) and now Greg Anthony said the Spurs have a stifling defense, (I'm paraphrasing of course). They crowd you and stop your flow. Thats why they have won three championships. (sounds like GA is living in the past, come on now GA). Greg Anthony also said amare needs to shut up and learn to play against a good defensive team.
I just get a kick out of the homer fans who discount the words of a former NBA player. Most of the fans didn't even play high school basketball but oh boy they sure are the authorities.

playing high school basketball makes one an authority on the sport? I would venture to say several of NBA and college coaches didn't play pro basketball, college, or even high school basketball.

it wasn't meant to be a knock. I figured Spurs fans don't really care about what GA says about the Suns all season long or years for that matter. Likewise I don't pay attention to what he says about the Spurs. Eh, whatever.

PHOENIX -- Phoenix Suns All-NBA center Amare Stoudemire on Thursday accused Spurs forward Bruce Bowen of intentionally trying to injure him during Game 2 of their Western Conference semifinal series.
Stoudemire said Bowen kicked him in the back of his leg as he went up for a dunk with 10:23 remaining in the fourth quarter of the Suns’ 101-81 victory Tuesday night at U.S. Airways Center.
“He’s going to get somebody injured out there,” Stoudemire said. “He has a don’t-care type of at ude and it showed in Game 2 when he kicked me purposely in the back of my Achilles. I almost came down wrong and caused an injury.
“He’s known for doing it. I just hope the NBA and the Commissioner (David Stern) will take a look at that.
"It's definitely a dirty play, and that's something we don't need. We don't need dirty players out there purposely trying to injure someone."
In fact, NBA senior executive vice-president for basketball operations Stu Jackson reviewed videotape of the play and determined that no disciplinary action against Bowen was warranted.
well re , GA never speaks kindly of too many teams, including the Spurs. Not that you would know that. Why not bring up Alonzo Mourning's comments also. The media is dismissing what amare is saying cause its a wussy thing to say.

I understand that. A Suns fan said that he "knew 100%" without a doubt that Bruce Bowen goes into every game with the intent to injure. I asked what his proof was...he said "I know by just looking" I again asked for proof and he never re-posted.I keep asking for proof on things I am being called out for but yet I only get more accusations from people too quick to want to attack and call names.
