The only thing that is pissing me off about the refs is that they are falling for every flop.WTF??? No they're not! Did you drink the coolaid??? They're calling a foul virtually every trip down the floor! You really ARE blind. Games 1 and 2 they stayed out of it, tonight they've made it "UGLY AS "ball.
The second team has been solid as tonight. Props, men.
Both teams are guilty of it, it's a staple of Jerry Sloan basketball and it's ing lame for the commentators to single out Horry.
Both teams need to stop flopping, but seeings Jerry Sloan has mastered the art of having his guys deliver cheap shots (Collins on Duncan for example) and flopping, Spurs have to resort in kind (haven't seen any cheap shots, but definite flopping).
It's not surprising that Sloan has dipped into his bag of tricks, but it sucks we're having to watch it in the conference finals.

people here are complaining about too many whistles all around. It makes for a boring game when the refs don't let the players play. And this has been a boring game.
Refs have made this first half brutal to watch. There were some ugly calls for both teams. Should have just let the players play. This is a freaking nationally televised game . These ticky tacky fouls are only helping the "boring" stigma that's been attached to this series.

They shouldnt forget Giricek and Harpring this 2nd half. We shouldnt let those guys have confidence and start making big plays. It will stretch the defense too much and will give Boozer, Williams and Okur more space.
NBA has totally RUINED the block-charge call. The way they call it now is a travesty. You used to have to earn a charge, these days they call it more often than they call a block.
As a player, I am appalled by the way they call it these days. It encourages flopping.
Oh, and just for inSIX, I'm not saying one team or the other has benefitted from it tonight, just saying I hate the way they call it in general.
The refs are quick with the whistles tonight...Horry took advantage of that to get two easy points...but, then again, Horry is a genius!
Please. Refs aren't the problem here. The problem is the Spurs not really playing very well. Too many to's, too many bad shots. I know they are getting hit down there, but that's not unusual either.
Bottom line is that if they play at all like they did in SA, this will be a much shorter series than I anticipated.
Hopefully they come out a lot more aggressive in the 3rd with rested players and a small lead.
If we can call this an ugly game, I feel good about winning it.

Won't happen and nearly impossible to enforce. And since Dirk flops as well as anyone, that would hurt your team (unless he's traded this offseason).
