It's been nearly three months since Comedy Central aired a new episode of South Park, but fans of the animated comedy series only have to wait for a couple more weeks until the brand new season of the show premieres.

Early last week, Comedy Central announced that South Park's 12th season will begin on Wednesday, March 12, at 10/9c. It will be succeeded by the premiere of Lewis Black's Root of All Evil, a show that features Black presiding over comedians like Greg Giraldo, Paul F. Tompkins and Patton Oswalt as they debate over who is more evil. The show's “cases” include Oprah vs. The Catholic Church and Paris Hilton vs. Cheney.
