My cat's sister (the long-haired puff of fur in the background who is no longer with us) used to do that.
The cat I still have will just bite the out of you if you pet her there.

a cat i used to have weighed almost 20 pounds.
i felt bad for her because everytime she'd go out and stalk birds or squirrels, they'd be all non chalant and just slowly jaunt away. her fat ass degraded her hunting skills.
My aunt had a cat like that. I think there were maybe 20 minutes a day that she wasn't sleeping.
