I bet they did, but doesn't help when the HC is a deer in the headlights when going against Kirby because that same mentality trickles down to your players.
Elee says here he may be taking an official visit to Texas.

I was trying to get on here and comment what a psychotic onside decision that was from Kirby, and it ended up being genius.
Because Georgia had to punt several times and Texas got it within four points, he didn't want to risk Texas' offense getting the ball back.
The result was them hogging the ball for almost 12 minutes straight and it killed all hope, especially after Texas' D failed to stop two 4th downs on the drive before.
IT spoke to Kris' brother, Demarco, and he's going to survive.
He's now stable, in a lot of pain and will remain in the hospital for a few days.
Things became complicated quickly when OU upset Alabama yesterday, but Texas still needed to defeat Georgia or play them close.
Due to being beat convincingly last night, I don't think there's a realistic playoff path for Texas at this time even if they beat A&M.
Maybe the experts and statisticians see it differently, and we'll see what that talk is like in the coming days.
If there's any silver lining, a head start on the offseason is needed with the inevitable coaching/personnel changes coming, portal recruiting, etc.
Rich keep getting richer.
I don't typically pay attention to Desmond Howard, but he went on IG this morning while taking out his trash and says don't be surprised if the Texas job opens up soon.
He framed it as a "mutual parting of ways," and that's certainly not something you'd say flippantly with nothing behind it.
IT commented saying they had a source whose gut feel is it could happen, but I think we can all agree things have felt "off" this year with Sark's personal situation, roster mismanagement, report of NFL interest, etc.

Who'd have thought in August that Sark's seat would be warming up by mid November.
kind of a tough situation, but its pretty clear that sark isnt the guy. hes mack brown all over again with great recruiting, tempered by subpar coaching/management. hard to justify firing him because they win a lot, but are also losing games in ways that are unacceptable for any respectable coach.
if he truly is gone, i hope texas has a better plan in place for their next coaching staff than when they canned mack
I still believe Arch slopped his way thru the off season camps, believing his own hype and Sark did nothing to light a fire under him.
Even though his stats are okay, he's just not passing the eyeball test. The easier throws are slightly off, making the receivers work harder and the decision making at times is head shaking bad.
But that comes back on Sark because he's clearly a talented kid with maybe the best pedigree ever.
