Worked there when I was 16. There was this 40something year old felon who worked with us, made something like 5.60 an hour when I was making 4.95 or whatever the minimum wage was at the time. Only reason he got more was because that owner had 5cent raises for every year of service on the line.
Dude could run that whole kitchen when he wanted to, but usually spent his time trying to do things like sneak paid extras such as sliced tomato onto his dollar (50cents during your shift) burgers without paying for it.
