Should be an interesting 4th. If it's close at the end, we'll win it.

    Chucky almost made that!

spurs went on run with players they were used to playing together

maybe pop started manu so the big three can play together more instead of just the 4
and mason knows he will be starting again soon
    Over TP?

I agree that Pop is a GREAT coach, who is just having a bad season. Perhaps it is all the new faces.

But ... this team is not , in any way, shape, or form, a contender.
    Is Jacque Vaughn new stick?

For sake, it is not about "heart". Heart is just another word for effort, and the effort is there, the chemistry is not. They are busting up simple plays and missing defensive rotations because Pop has screwed with their heads by rotating 11 and 12 players through every game.

Pop needs to shorten the rotation to 8 or 9 players and stick with it - right now he's playing fantasy.
Finally, someone talking sense. Thank you, my Aussie friend.

The Spurs are not losing because they don't have heart, or effort, or want to win any less.

They are losing because they are not playing as well as their opponent. Period. It's about skill, strategy, technique, athleticism, and execution. Not effort.

My only explanation: Pop is using the final games of the season to audition people for the playoff roster. He's got to decide who gets cut, which would explain why he is playing Vaughn instead of Bowen. Bowen will make it for sure, and could use the rest, while Vaughn may lose his spot to Hill unless he makes an impression.
Assuming your theory is correct, you think Hill will get at least 2 games to make his impression? You'd think how great he was with TP out would've locked it up.

We are extremely fortunate to only be down by 6. I think Pop should put Bowen in for Durant.

81-75, 6 point Thunder lead. Thank God, it will be a respectable margin that we will lose by.

Good job of cutting the lead to 6 after being down as many as 15. Need a strong start to the 4th.

I don't care who steps up but the Spurs need to kick it up a notch.

Somebody has to start swinging some balls in our team. Either TD, TP or Manu. This is the time to man up, and bring this game home...
I'm tired of this team playing like sissies...

That 2nd quarter is what really hurt the Spurs. Last year, I remember the 3rd quarter being their achillies heel.

These ing Thunder announcers are terrible. I was happy that tonight we wouldn't have to hear that "Gimme the green light" plug everytime Green scored (they play it in OKC everytime Green makes a basket) a bucket but listening to these re s is worse. These dumbasses just said that Collison passed the ball to his ex teammate Vaughn. WTF Vaughn was drafted in 97', Collison was drafted in what 2003? They never played together @KC

Spurs caught a huge break because they wasn't a foul on Mason, in fact it should've been an offensive foul for the kick out......either way I'll take any breaks we can get any day of the week.

I understand that bowen is up their in age but he hasn't really played that much this season at all. The Spurs were already limiting his minutes. I'm wondering why we haven't seen KT yet... and has Gooden even played in the 2nd half?

    Sure I can.

    No Bowen
    Too much Finley
    Not enough Drew
    Too much Mason PG
No fixed rotation RIGHT BEFORE THE ING PLAYOFFS!!
How long have you been a Spurs fan? It still baffles me that people don't understand what Pop does before the playoffs..

And the people calling Pop an idiot are the true idiots.

    Is Jacque Vaughn new?
I was responding to someone else's post about Pop's rotations in general. Vaughn had nothing to do with it. Calm down.
