Any Mavfan thinking there's a 0.1% chance Lebron is going to Dallas is delusional. It's that simple. There is a 0% chance Lebron goes to Dallas.

There has been a lot of articles recently that has mentioned Dallas as a possible destination for Lebron. Here's one today from ESPN Insider.
James' options

• Cleveland. No matter what happens in the playoffs, LeBron still has strong ties and loyalty to the city.
• Chicago. The Bulls desperately need a scorer, and with Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah, this team could make noise for years to come.
• New Jersey. He could pair with John Wall if the team lands the No. 1 pick.
• Los Angeles Clippers. They'll likely have a better chance at small forward Rudy Gay, but LeBron fills a need for them.
• Dallas. They can sign-and-trade for the King.
• Miami. Dwyane Wade is probably a better pair with a low-post scorer such as Chris Bosh, Carlos Boozer or Amare Stoudemire, but we're sure Pat Riley wouldn't mind the King either.

Dampier can instantly save a team $13 million, that's one of the most financially attractive contracts in the league right now, if not the most financially attractive.

Also, Caron Butler is expiring for $10 million next season (like J-Rich I believe) and he's a talent that Mavs are obviously willing to let go of for Lebron. Along with Beaubois and a possibly a couple of first rounders.

Also, if you go do some research you'll find that the majority of star players have actually left through S&T in the past. S&T contracts are more financially attractive to players because it allows an extra year of guaranteed money that would normally violate NBA regulations. That's probably the #1 argument for Lebron going to Dallas. If Dallas is the most financially attractive destination, if they have the most financially attractive S&T contracts to get the deal done (which they do), and iƒ Dallas has one of the biggest markets in the NBA (top 5) along with another superstar to pair up with.... why wouldn't it make sense? There were rumors in Dallas today that Lebrons wife was driving around some nice neighborhoods looking at houses by the way..... unconfirmed, but still reported.

They assume that Cleveland would rather have Butler since he's better than "nothing" but also assume Cleveland would rather have "nothing" than Antawn Jamison (since they would want to cut salary).

Jamison has 2 years and $28 million left on his deal. Butler has 1 year and $10 million left on his. They don't care about either player long term; the choice is 1 year of Butler after LeBron for $10 million, or 2 years of Jamison after LeBron for $28 million. What is better to you?

This scenario is contingent on them trading away Jamison for cap relief. And Monos is laughing at Suns fan saying that sometimes NOTHING is better than a particular player.

If they agree to trade LeBron to Dallas, they will insist on Antawn Jamison being included. It's a contract Dallas is willing to take on in order to get Bron, and it's pretty standard procedure now for GMs to insist on taking back a bad contractor contracts in addition to the star player.

I think the Cavaliers collapse gets the dominoes falling for an epic power team. But unfortunately for Mavs fans, not in Dallas.
