Now the question is this: what does Washington do with Vladdy for Games 1 and 2? There is no DH so that's a tough call. He started to get it going late in the ALCS so it's hard to take that bat away. But do you play him in the OF and risk his D? It is painful watching him run after fly balls.

I think if we face the Giants, then you absolutely have to sit Vlad for Game 1. Lince 's nasty changeups in the dirt is exactly the kind of pitch that would completely own him. I don't see him having any success vs Lince at all.

You sell big bad vlad short. Those sinking changeups are exactly what Vlad used to hit back in the old country in their perverted version of baseball. He feasts on low stupid foul pitches.
This lineup issue is so interesting I say no way you can take Vlad's bat out of the lineup. No ing way. It's Vlad dude. VLAD.

The only DFW area team that I don't hate. I've been to plenty of Rangers games while living there (even when they sucked), and it's a great time for a lot of the people up here. Reminds me so much of what it was like in Houston when the Astros went to the World Series. With the way the Rangers are playing, neither the Giants or Phillies can beat them.
