btw, I think Ron Washington needs to consider benching Andrus for a game and putting in Blanco to send a message that the defense he has been playing for the last several weeks is not gonna cut it the rest of the way. Elvis is making horrible fielding errors that he normally makes.

It's sorta like a NBA coach benching a star player to start the 4th quarter because he played defense in the 3rd. Every player has to be held accountable. No excuses. Elvis is normally excellent defensively. So when you see him make all these errors, then you have to wonder if it's a mental thing. He's not just making one or two errors. It seems like he makes an error every single night now. I'm more than willing to have Blanco replace Andrus for one game if it gets Elvis' head in gear. , you don't even have to keep him out the whole game. Wash could insert Elvis in the 7th or something. Just don't start him.
