I already did that but I also took a shot at you. Once again you think it's one thing or the other, when it's really both.
so seeing today's game, with refs tossing OKC's salad per the par, you still feel Grizzlies win in 6?
I already did that but I also took a shot at you. Once again you think it's one thing or the other, when it's really both.
Memphis looked like . The officiating wouldn't have changed a thing today.
How many did he have tonight? Do you think a 7'er like him who can drive the paint and knock down the 3 at will doesn't get fouled all the time? It's not the problem that he gets fouled, so does Howard. It's the he hits his FTs. Dirk was getting a load of FTs during his heyday.
They pulled their heads out of their asses and made it close after their start - take away the BS officiating and they may have completed the comeback.... instead, they weren't even given a fair chance....
Just because I thought his post was hilarious I'm a sucker? Slow your roll , you don't wanna come at me sideways. I'll your world up.
Durant didn't even get 10 freebies and the meltdown in this thread is unprecedented. He was 4-6. If you shoot 18-31 from the line and allow yourself to be down 20 then you don't deserve to win, period.
Oklahoma City was 28-32 from the line, btw. There's your ball game.
So your take is that the officiating was fair tonight. Otherwise if it was changed it would change something.
Link where I said "it's one thing or another"? I said it's the main reason...
What I'm getting from some of you people trying to justify calls is this: Say your girlfriend was having dinner with a guy whom you know nothing about and you happen to suddenly walk onto the situation and hide to see whats going on. You see her begin touching him on the leg. Justification: she's giving him a massage. She being feeding him fruits: Justification: He probably can't feed himself. She situation escalates and they embrace in a french kiss. Justification: Oh...that's probably what she doesn't with her cousins from where she's from.
^^^^^^That is how you sound to me. Like delusional moron boyfriends of the NBA who can't justify what is completely REAL in front of them. You're the reason why people go on living paranoid lives of kicking babies in the balls.
Its basic psychology that if you change the rules for a team in this league, you completely destroy the offensive strategy and their confidence in their offense. Not only that, you give the opponent the benefit of regular rules and much more and you've got the formula for setting up your own match ups.
Seriously, I understand that a team can shoot themselves out of the game however i watched the entire game. The Memphis Grizzlies would have had the Thunder completely rattled had they got their due. They were destroying all momentum the Thunder had and the officials did their absolute best to keep them away from tying.
you really need to stop with the internet tough guy
I called OKC to win this series because they don't have enough firepower... I still feel the same way. I do think Memphis can rough em up a bit though... maybe steal a game or two... if Conley is hurt, then it's over, IMO.
I didn't see the game but the butthurt is strong in here on both sides of the coin.
So we agree
YES it was fair. How convenient of you to ignore the calls against Oklahoma City just because they're a heated conference rival
Fouls: MEM 24, OKC 25 ()
FTA: MEM 18-31, OKC 28-32

By the way I didn't make any definitive statement about the officiating. I just think it's stupid to sweep poor officiating(if that is the case) under the rug just because the team did do everything else perfectly. How well does a team have to play before one can complain about officiating? Someone please answer. I don't know, so I will complain when I think the officiating isn't good. How well the team plays has no barring on that. And if the officiating is bad it's a reason for the loss.
Shut your mouth, you have no business here.
How dare you! There's more than one reason!

I'm not really saying it wasn't fair. I'm saying if it wasn't then it is a reason for the loss.
How were they allowed to make it compe ive, did the refs take a break? Did the same thing happen to the Clippers... at home?
