This game for instance, I feel Argentina is poised to win it, looking like the better team, but 30 minutes might not be enough, given how hard scoring is.
I just don't like to see the stronger team bailed out by penalties when it's obvious one team is taking control.
I agree, but Argentina have had more than enough chances to score so it's on them if they do lose via penalties

Argentina parking the bus.
Whatever happens, this Argie D is one of the best ever![]()
Wow I've never seen Aguero this bad
And Garay and Rojo (who I hated a lot, but shut me up) are young... something to build on

You really need some hard alcohol to sustain that... beer doesn't help anymore
Yeah I agree, I'm not a fan of shootouts to decide a game of this magnitude but some fans love it and I guess it just depends on what side of the coin you are.
Making the game longer would cause the clubs these guys are associated with cause a fit because of the chances of injury increases greatly the more tired these guys are. Unlimited subs would ruin the game

I've been more impressed with the tackles from the german D tbh... some crazy ass accurate

Boateng playing an amazing game tbh
this is where playing 120mins the previous game hurts... we looked tired as
Palacio looks such a got, surely somebody has told him it looks dreadful?
just pack all of em up in the penalty area
Palacio needs to miraculously score here, and we'll forgive everything
Man Argentina missed so many easy goals. In football that usually bites you back ! Can't believe the goals that Higuain, Messi and Palacio missed, especially Pepitas.
Subbing in aguero over the more active lavezzi was a huge mistake..Lavezzi played well in the first half
I have Hummels, Neuer and Boatengs. This pleases me greatly
Germany had the ball more, but they didn't attack much at all... we probably had as many chances if not more
Because PK's should never determine a 4 year world champion
