I can choose not to join. Why can't I?
But it's such a positive, legacy building thread for Duncan that I am really enjoying it.
Once again, thanks for bringing this amazing record to the forefront of SpursTalk, day in, day out.

November, 2015. Calling the 17-time skunker a month in advance.
You shoulda lodged The Skunker. You didn't. You made an aside in common terms.
That ain't .
By God, next time you'll know better as you scan the box scores...tee, hee.
Oh noes ... not back to Kobe again. But since we are on the subject, what was Kobe's streak? Was it 1,359?
^ Gee ... my bad, can't be. Because as Thread pointed out to us all, 1,359 is the record held by the one and only Tim Theodore Duncan.
Thanks Thread.
Oh I lodged it. I lodged it hard. I rammed that skunker right up your boy's ass, no lube. You just weren't around to witness, since I had sent you to the reading room to repair your damaged ego.
I lodged 17.
And you're just riding my gravy train, thinking because you pressed "Start New Thread" you somehow have rights. Nuh uh. You can play your semantic shuffle, but I was first, a month before you.
Me.
No, you didn't lodge The Skunker. You were remiss,,,then when I lodged mine legally you tried to horn in on my goodness. No. Absolutely not.
No.
Now, go back to combing the box scores with the fine tooth comb.
Oh I lodged that er. Had your boy Capri reeling withlike I didn't know that
. It was a lodge for the ages. You just weren't here to witness. I believe I had sent you moping to the reading room, then lodged it in your absence. You missed it. Not my problem. It looked like this:

No. You made a careless notation. That's on you. That's your failure. You don't get a do-over, bub. One chance. I came along then and did it correctly according to the rules. Your regret is not my responsibility. Now you know better.
Add another skunk for tonight. Won't even suit up.
Anyone who thinks Duncan unknowingly broke Karl's record and just happened to have a scoreless game after is naive. No one knew about the record until Duncan zeroed. The odds of that happening that close to, but after Karl's number are astronomical.
^^^ Then Tim got Popped.
tee, hee.
