Yeah, an anti-trump Republican, but I have still enjoyed the liberal tears. Protectionism and tariffs are horrible economic policy, and I lean liberal on a lot of social issues. Moderate Libertarianism is probably accurate, but I usually vote Republican unless they are running for school board.

The teachers reported a noticeable increase in verbal harassment, the use of slurs and other derogatory language, and incidents involving swastikas, Nazi salutes and Confederate imagery.
Many of the incidents involved students taunting classmates with variations on Trump’s campaign rhetoric, such as threats to build a wall around or deport Latino students.
Even the minority of teachers who hadn’t noticed any change in student relationships since the election admitted they worked in schools with few minority students or immigrants.

There are lots of questions surrounding a fire that gutted a home on Johnson Street in Plant City overnight.
Along with heavy damage, anti-Trump graffiti was sprayed on the house, inside and out. The family who lives there was spending the night with relatives, but Navy veteran Matthew Smith says his home was targeted because he is a Donald Trump supporter.
"It's not what I expected out of America," says Smith. "It should be us figuring problems out together."
"We supported Trump from when he started running for office," says Matthew's wife Brittany. "We never made it public. We never had a sign in our backyard, so no one really knew we were pro Trump."
But Matthew says he's been very active on Facebook, with posts supporting Trump, the Second Amendment, and other conservative causes.
Investigators are looking into possible connections with arsonists.

Matthew Pugh, 27, of Donora Towers, 685 Meldon Ave., was arrested Wednesday on a warrant obtained by Donora police on charges of attempted homicide, aggravated assault, simple assault and reckless endangerment.
Borough police were called to the apartment complex Nov. 20. Witnesses told police that Pugh and the woman, also a Donora Towers resident, were in the lobby when they got into a disagreement about politics, particularly the recent presidential election.
Pugh reportedly became enraged. He allegedly picked up a chair and hit the woman over the head, knocking her to the floor. The chair opened a gash on her head that bled severely, police said. The woman also suffered other injuries in the fall.
Pugh left after the assault, police said, but was found a short time later. Donora police Officer Keith Charlton said Pugh is a supporter of Hillary Clinton, who lost to Donald Trump in the presidential vote. The woman apparently made a comment either against Clinton or in support of Trump, sparking Pugh’s attack, said Charlton.

There has been a surge in assaults on U.S. Border Patrol agents charged with capturing illegals trying to cross into the United States, according the agency's chief.
Border Patrol Chief Mark A. Morgan told a Senate committee Wednesday that two agents have been killed in the last four months alone.
"The men and women of the Border Patrol have one of the toughest jobs in federal law enforcement," said Morgan, adding, "They are the most assaulted federal law enforcement in the us, more than 7,400 border patrol agents have been assaulted since 2006."
Without detailing the extent of the assaults, he said the numbers have jumped. "That rose in FY16 by 20 percent and year to date were seeing an increase in assaults by 200 percent over previous year to date. It's a dangerous job."

According to the New York Daily News, Officer Aml Elsokary was off duty on Saturday morning when she dropped off her 16-year-old son on a corner and went to park their car.
When she returned to the spot on foot, she saw her son getting harassed and then shoved by a white man who appeared to be in his 30s.
As she approached, the assailant said, “ISIS b*itch, I will cut your throat. Go back to your country!”
The Daily News said that Elsokary was in plain clothes and unarmed. She did not identify herself to the man as a police officer.
In 2014, Elsokary was awarded a medal for her bravery when she charged into a burning building to save an elderly man and a small child.
In April of that year, the veteran officer and her partner rushed into a smoke-filled building when they heard a baby crying on the second floor. Using her jacket to turn an apartment’s red-hot doorknob, Elsokary — herself a mother of five — rescued a baby girl and her frightened grandmother and took them to safety.
