Practically nothing has happened in the Houston area other than moderate rain on and off the past two days. Yeah it could still shift east and all that but it's now a Tropical Storm and the flooding we'll get will be nowhere close to the "biblical" proportions they were saying just a few days ago.

Looks like a waste of money with all the nonperishables I got. Atleast I'm off work until Tuesday tbh

Newscasters are still talking most epic flood ever but the radar doesn't match what they are saying.
KENS has been forecasting this to be over by Monday since this morning. WOAI still says five days of rain.

I won't be mad if the worst thing to come from this is wasting $4 on ice for the cooler.

I was watching national. They're too invested to say they traveled this far for a dud. Freakin dude was standing on a bridge 20 feet above the Brazos acting like he would be underwater tomorrow.

no it's been hilariously disappointing so far in Houston. Since yesterday morning, just on and off light to moderate rainfall with ocassional gusty winds. I get that it could very likely move east and sit on top of us for a few days creating some flooding issues but Christ, on Thursday you would've thought the Apocalypse was coming with how everybody was reacting

Right now there are some tornadoes in NW Houston but they're just taking a few shingles off of random houses

    hmmm I wonder where at?

From what I've heard, the city as a whole has just had rain off and on. I can see it ac ulating to a fairly large amount when it's all said and done but where I'm at, I'd say only 2 or 3 inches since this thing started
