Honestly this is how most raptors games were last 3 seasons. DD carried them all the time. Yet the advanced stats nerds claimed he wasn't good because some numbers on a calculator told them so smh
Was he this good of a passer, though? I'm really impressed with his assists. Was not expecting that.

Bruh. We just got taken to OT by one of the worst teams in the West. At home.
Bruh, we are starting this year with the least amount of continuity in over 2 decades and a slew of injuries. We are 4-2 and have beaten Lebron twice and won 2 OT games. The Mavs are a rival and always play us close. This team is developing chemistry and belief in themselves quickly. DeMar looks like a bona fide all NBA player and the sky is the limit for this team if we start firing on all cylinders.

He didn't add that into his game until last season and it's continued into this one.

Murray is out for the season.
That dude had a jump shot like Michael J Fox from teen wolf, until he can knock down a jumper consistently, he aint a crunch time guard.

Hey, don't look at me. Aldridge was the one wanting to be traded from a 67 wins team because he wasn't scoring as much as he wanted.
    61 win*

It's the Spurstalk way. We struggled in these same situations last year immensely cause we couldn't score. And now we show big improvements on that front and people still complain about how they win.

Spurs badly need a Lou Williams-like player to go in there and score some points without needing someone to create for him. Their missing guards will help in a lot ways, but they likely won't help there.
    DeMar, Rudy, Lou....?

Where have I seen that before....

Seriously. People are ing, but the Spurs lost a butt-ton of close games last year that made the difference between them getting the third-seed and them getting the Warriors in the first round.

We lost so many close games last year. I see vast improvement with us winning these games. We are really making strides in our crunch time scoring, like you said.

True. Didn’t like the trade. Would have preferred someone else or even a rebuild if I am honest. But had to move on eventually or I wouldn’t be able to enjoy the team. As I said, I ain’t getting my wish so at least Demar is playing very well and got to enjoy that.

Our 4-2 record is such fool's gold. I'll take it though.
We played all of them against Playoff teams. even this Mavs team might get into the Playoffs. There are no easy games in the west

That being said the team is playing the top 3 players a lot of minutes early in the season. No garbage time to rest players etc.

First game I've been able to see living up here in Dallas. Totally happy with the Leonard/DeRozan trade now, what we give up in defense and a sullen at ude we gain with a smooth shooter and a team player. As for the rest, I was surprised to see Marco get pulled when he was hot but they said he missed a defensive assignment so who knows. Still not a Bertans fan but thought Mills played his ass off tonight. Dallas has a pretty damn good team actually nowdays but Ill always be a Spurs fan. In a way DeRozen's smoothness reminds me of Mitch.

Yup he become a good playmaker in San Antonio..
He was already a good playmaker last year. Don't forget he played next to an elite point guard in Lowry. This year his assist numbers are up because his PG is actually a true SG(FORBES)

Another thing is LMA is so good in the pick and pop. When they run it it always reminds me of Nash/Dirk in 2004.
