That didnt bother me. It was something new in the series and they foreshadowed it a bit throughout the film.
I really liked it. Sure it was a nostalgia trip and there was a lot of very, very convenient moments (Finn and Poe being saved by the "spy"), but who cares? They got a lot of star wars "right". There was scale. Things were BIG. There was tension. There was suspense. I personally thought it was easily the best of the trilogy and probably the best outside of the original three.
Daisy Ridley sure can act. Adam Driver too. They're both superb. The entire cast was good. Even a very sexy Keri Russell.

I think it was more that the execution of it was really bad. It looked so cheesy and stupid that half the audience started laughing at it. But it bothers me a little less the more I think about it. And it’s still not even the lamest thing to ever happen in a Star Wars movie (nothing will ever top “NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!”)![]()
pretty solid tbh
has its own set of "flaws" like literally every single star wars movie, but it was still a fun watch overall
I loved it....sure there were some silly parts and some stuff that was rushed, but I walked out of the theatre entertained, and had that feeling of having just watched Star Wars. Made up for the crap that was the last Jedi.
But space force Leia was awesome tho
I’m constantly amazed at how a dozen “tweeters” shape opinion in this country.
Eeeh movie
Beautiful in 3D IMAX tho
Not even close. You're still cuckifying.
Code for just doing a storyboard of a movie with no buildup and emotional resonance.
Slob really, really woke.
Agreed. Highest funded b-movie in history.
Tell us about how Romeo and Juliet is apparently re ed. And are you allowed to say the r-word, btw?
How is that comment “woke”? I can ignore your usual word vomit but since you replied to my review while denying having seen the movie, explain why you called me “really, really woke”?
So many deficiencies in this, but cutting through the fat, the woke refers to you using the term cringeworthy like a 12-year-old girl. Don't worry, slob; I'm sure that was a really, really hard one for you to figure out.
Pretty sure “cringeworthy” has been in use for decades now, Derp.
The term you’re thinking of is “cringey”, you dumbass.
Slob desperately trying to confuse etymology with woke trends.
Derp desperately pretending he won’t watch Rise Of Skywalker.
How have I done that; show me, the quote.
But i heard the cuck and the humper say it
Slob
I hope for your sake that you watched it, or that you’re gonna watch it. Posting 130+ times about a movie you will never see just feels really sad and pathetic.
I haven't posted that many times either. You really should try to stop taking your cues from the board cuck. i know that's gonna be hard for you given that there's only a hair's difference between you two.![]()
derp watched the movie this weekend
Star Wars
The biggest cultural bust of the 2010's
It’s right there for anyone to see, Derp. 134 posts and counting in this thread![]()
billions of dollars in revenue. May not have done perfectly but it’s way less of a cultural bust than Unite The Right was

Why does Anakin never speak to Ben? Lol
