    trump is likely going to be the nominee again and even more dangerous. last thing dems need to be focusing on is demonizing their own

    its pragmatism. the dems have 50 seats in the senate but 2 of them are "dems". theyre not going to magically become berniebros just because you threaten to hold up another bill that they already werent too enthusiastic over to begin with

    never said they would be converted, but it seems the Dems are fearful to offend them or use party leverage against them in any way. hard to see how this improves their chances in the upcoming election, it underscores their tendency of being more or less completely unwilling to use their power to fight for good .
